This would be my pick. They aren't just beating a dead horse at this point, they've moved to doing unnatural sex acts on the dead horse. Let it go. And for the love of God no more reboots. I do not want to see someone playing Picard in a reboot.

Star Wars is a tricky one. I could go another 20 years without seeing another Star Wars movie but I've enjoyed the Disney + stuff. So no new Star Wars unless Fav and Fil are working on it sounds pretty good.

As far as I'm concerned, they need not make another "Dances with Smurfs".

The MCU.

I've seen nothing driven into the ground more thoroughly than Marvel.

It all has a "sameness" feel to it. Admittedly it's been more polished and consistent than both DC and Star Wars.

But it's just too damn much and has worn out its welcome with me and I don't think I can sit for another one.

A lot of people feel different judging by Spidey's blockbuster results.

No. There’s a thousand stories to tell in this universe. The Mandalorian proves that. They just need to stay away from the Skywalkers.

Bond is a good answer. They need to drop it long enough to come back and reboot doing period pieces. Set it in the 60s and let Bond be Bond.

In my mind. I like to think T2 ended with the happy ending and John Connor became a senator and Sarah a grandma. That ending was great. Or hell the ending driving down an unknown road was better. Every Terminator sequel after 2 has hurt the legacy.

Indiana Jones. I don’t understand, this ended 32 years ago.

And that’s the way it should be. I don’t want them to try and remake it in today’s environment.

Same. I feel the same about the MCU. I know it's suppose to be one long story so they should feel the same but still over it. NWH was good.

What gets rehashed more than Batman?

Spider-Man

Number of different actors to play each on the big screen:
Batman: 7 (Since 1989)
Spider-Man: 3 (Since 2000)

You could say that of the Batman movies, there are either 5 or 6 distinct... eras? Tones? Not sure of the right word here.

The Adam West Batman movie, which was a standalone

The Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney movies, which I would probably argue that the Keaton movies stand apart from the other 2, due to tone.

The Christian Bale movies

The Ben Affleck stint

The upcoming Robert Pattinson entry

I agree completely. Being a first generation Star Trek and Star Wars fan What they've done to Star Trek is a travesty. I can't blame the actors because they are just trying to make a living.

Star Wars is proving that the right people (Jon Favreau) can take a beloved franchise and implement the right amount of "Fan Service" by staying true to the mythology while introducing new characters, worlds and settings to enhance the product.

I did just think of another franchise to take a break:

Dr. Who......Provisionaly.

I'm interested in seeing what Russel T. Davies does when he takes over.

It's kinda sad that Terminator Salvation is pretty much the 3rd best movie in the franchise (and the only one that didn't go back to the "Terminator sent back in time to kill someone" well).
