About Time, he has more kids, but loses access to his dad. That one last time was awful.

A lot of good choices. I'll add Logan's ending

The ending of Mr. Holland's Opus.
"We are your symphony. We are the melody and notes of your opus."

Could some of you posting these gifs please post the name of the film? Some of these look really interesting, but I have no idea what movie that scene is from.

That movie is Lost in Translation.
If you ever come up on a pic or a gif that you want to know what it's from or who it is you can right click on it, click "copy image address", go to google.com. On the far right of the search bar, just right of the microphone icon, is the "search by image" icon. Click that, then put in the address of the pic/gif.

Brilliant bittersweet ending that elevates the film
Which would have been the fricked up cherry on top of plenty of other fricked up things in that movie.
It was a good decision to go with the bittersweet ending.

Not sure how this one wasn't mentioned yet.

I've always liked Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

That is a good one. As well as Into the Wild.

the conclusion that the only future in which he and his love could ever live a happy life is if they never met each other at all, and thus changes his childhood by never meeting at all.
That’s not true. They meet as kids the first time and he threatens her to make her go stay with her mom because she stayed with her shitty dad to be around Kutcher’s character. So they in fact did meet.
The alternate ending was even better. He goes back into the womb and chokes himself with the umbilical cord like his siblings before him. That’s why his mom kept saying she had so many miscarriages. The kids would always go back and take themselves out once they realized they would not be able to stop using their gift to fix things.
It I agree it was a great film with that ending or the main one.
