Tom Hardy steals every scene he's in. That character is great!

Nope...no one on here watches it. You are literally the first person to ever start a thread on it.

Incredible show and just keeps getting better.

I honestly had a hard time with the storyline in season 3 because it gets into history im not too familiar with but that just because I wasnt paying as much attention as I should have

Tommy, Alfie, and Arthur are what kept me watching.
quote:

"I do not want him to spare me because of some fricking peace pact! I want him to acknowledge that his anger is un-fricking-justified! I want him to acknowledge that he who fights by the sword, he fricking dies by it, Tommy. So, what, they took your boy did, they eh? They got your boy? And what fricking line am I supposed to have crossed? How many fathers, right, how many sons, yeah, have you cut, killed, murdered, fricking butchered, innocent AND guilty, to send straight to fricking hell, ain't ya? JUST LIKE ME!!! You fricking stand there, YOU judging me, stand there and talk to ME about crossing some fricking "line". If you pull that trigger, right, you pull that trigger for a fricking honorable reason. Like an honorable man, not like some fricking civilian that does not understand the wicked way of our world, mate."

GOAT scene above!

I needed these badly for the first few episodes, but I think my ears just got used to it. It was weird.

I had to watch it on the iPad with good ear buds.

Great show. Season 3 has been my favorite.

My wife and I just started watching this last week. Only 3 episodes in and I'm liking it but not loving it so far. I know this isn't a popular opinion but I don't like the more modern music they use. I know it's a stylisitc choice but I'm finding it distracting nearly every time it kicks in and it pulls me out of the setting and period.

Of course, we're really early in it, so maybe it will grow on me.

Take it from someone who started that way, watch it without your wife. You'll enjoy it more.

I felt the same way, but I found myself later on into the show really being drawn into the humanity of the characters as much or more than the time period in which they were operating. The ominous and dark music really started to grow on me in Season 2.

My wife was with me for about 3 shows and then it got too dark and violent for her.
