Episode 4 is maybe a top 10 Sci fi TV show episode of all time.

Damn. That was very well written. The set was amazing. The alien world was very... alien but familiar.
All in all this series is the true successor of OG Star Trek.

The orville has not disappointed all season. I watched 4 last night and it was very good. It is by far the best sci-fi on TV right now.

I just wish it had a little more humor in it.

I liked the show but not sure that I'm ready to dive back in as I thought the first episode in season 3 was so boring. The doc and robot thing is just too weird and I honestly don't remember season 2 enough to know what was going on. I'll give it another shot when I look at a season 2 recap.

E3:5 A Tale of Two Topas

Deft handling of a callback to one if the most controversial prior episodes of the show.

The acting is fantastic in this episode.

Another great episode, all of them this season have been homeruns and triples.

Very TNG style but I didn't love it. Feel asleep on first watch.
Gender identity has to be a topic now.

Bortus should have killed him and shoved his arse out an airlock for what he said to their kid towards the end of the show

The episode was really good. I know everyone wants to think it is about transgender stuff, but it is much more about intolerance.

E6: Twice in a Lifetime

Great episode about time travel, humanity and duty.

Best Trek out there.

SPOILERS FOR EP. 6:

I like that they left it ambiguous as to whether the 2025 timeline was erased after they rescued 2015 Gordon.

Also, the crew shouldn’t have been surprised that 2025 Gordon was married since it said so in his obituary. Presumably, the obituary also mentioned his children, so that shouldn’t have been a surprise either.

I can just imagine them seeing the name of his widow and not putting two and two together. Then, when they meet her in 2025 being like “For f$&k’s sake!”

I feel so bad for Gordon. He falls for this girl twice, she falls for him twice, and he ends up alone twice.

Also, great foreshadowing by bringing up the cell phone earlier in the episode during the party. Does anyone think they’re foreshadowing Gordon ending up with the heartbroken ensign?

E3:7 From Unknown Graves

Holy shite!

Kaylon history and much more.

Easily, the most serious and the funniest episode this season.

I think sexual orientation is pretty fluid in the year 2300

Fluid...

I am glad they are giving Jackson (Issac) a chance to show his face in some scenes. This episode particularly really showed that guy can act.
