I made it to 17:53. I legit tried. This movie fricking sucks.

I didn’t make it much further. While I’m not going to say it “fricking sucks,” I will say that after about 30 minutes there was not one character I liked or wanted to root for or get invested in.

Just watched it last night and was not very impressed. The acting itself is good but the story is disjointed

The most difficult part is that there are no “good” characters to root for. The ANTIFA crew are self absorbed terrorists and the government is well meaning but racist. I found myself not caring what happened in the movie because all the characters were so unlikeable

Made it to the scene where the black chick is pregnant and shooting the full auto for fun. Whole thing was terrible, she sucked and there was nothing that made me want to watch. Bailed.

I also thought it wild that a major plot line involved smuggling tons of immigrants into the US while there is a government that is totally focused on racial purity and treats non-whites like trash. Wouldn’t people be fleeing INTO Mexico if the US operated with completely open racism and against minorities? Just another thing about that movie that made no logical sense

Finally got around to watching this. I'm about 20 minutes in and just wanted to say that Teyana Taylor is sexy asf.

I had a good time watching this movie. For me it was really, really good but not quite great.

It had good pace to it, despite being about 2 hours and 40 minutes long. I was not expecting the amount of humor in it either, it was funny or lighthearted at times throughout.

Leo was great as usual, but Sean Penn stole the show. His character was almost at the line of too campy and over the top, but not quite.

Well, I just finished watching this and I thought it was pretty lousy. The interracial underpinnings of the story didn't grab me at all. You have the French 75 girls saying “Do you think he likes Black girls?” and Bob replying, “Of course I like Black girls! This is why I’m here!” and Lockjaw saying "You like black girls? I love 'em. I love 'em!" All of that just put a weird spin on the story. I was expecting a political movie and got something else entirely.

OUaTiH wasn’t political at all and KoftFM was a bit but it’s a very interesting true story.

Since the VP is a VIP we should keep the PC on the QT cuz if it leaks to the VC he could be KIA and we'd all get KP.

Watched it last night. Anybody that turned it off after 30 minutes didn’t give it a chance. I was about to do the same, but that’s when it really started to get good. I liked it.

Pretty much how I felt as well. PTA did some incredible things here but I didn't like any of the characters and didn't really care what happened to them. I also thought, at its base, it's just a man on the run story that was a bit too disjointed.

I get if you loved this movie because the message is important to you as a lefty cosplay revolution exercise. Nothing wrong with that at all.

I just don't get the love for this movie stripped away from its politics. PTA is one of the best directors of his generation. This movie is boring and basic. It belongs nowhere near Boogie Nights, Magnolia, The Master, Phantom Thread, There Will Be Blood, Punch Drunk Love, or even Licorice Pizza.

The idea that PTA will finally get the awards he otherwise deserves for this film is garbage, gut I guess telling. It would be like David Fincher winning his first Oscar for a boring, soapy biopic about carbon zero bank robbers who never actually steal anything.
