I agree. Trying to get some friends to see it again in IMAX this week because it’s losing the screens to the Avatar 2 rerelease on Thursday.

I'm suggesting that the merch you posted is not funded by an organization called Antifa, nor do they receive the proceeds. It's somebody making shirts. Just like Trump doesn't fund or benefit from United Patriot. It is somebody making money off of merch marketed to a specific crowd.

Answer the question. Does Antifa exist? Or is it made up?

It was a fun ride. Kind of makes me want to read the book. I want to compare it to Eddington, which I liked better.

While watching, I was thinking that Eddington and this could be in the same universe. Both films were very entertaining too.

This was stated by the biggest COVID shot-pushing, mask-supporting shill on the Bama board. Simply amazing.

Is it really a leftist indoctrination flick about white supremacy, as the reviews suggest?

That answer is obviously Antifa. I mean yeesh. But do they even exist anymore?
Yes, but not for long. To his credit, Trump shouldn't have pussied out of naming them a domestic terror organization in his 1st term.

It's not that bad. Leo starts off as part of rebellious group (ala Antifa) but that's the worst of it. But it's a very entertaining flick. Top notch acting, score, cinematography. Give it a shot, you'll enjoy yourself

Doesn't surprise me that Leo would do a movie like this. Same dude that is all in on climate change policy needing to be "green" but flies in a jet all over the world. Rules for thee but not me type shite. frick him

Just got out. Good movie! Nowhere near a “modern classic” or “generation defining epic” like the reviews make it out to be. It’s not even in PTA’s Top 3 lol.

It’s incredibly well made in all technical aspects. Sound designer needs to win an Oscar. Tons of great shots. It was too long, though surprisingly well paced given the length. They just needed to trim the fat by about 20-30min.

It’s a really quirky movie with lots of absurdist humor, more than I expected. Will probably catch a lot of people off guard. It’s like a high octane Big Lebowski

And no, it’s not some subversive leftist manifesto. While the movie definitely sympathizes with the left, it’s very self deprecating and pokes fun at both sides in equal measure. Some of the “revolutionaries” are fat neckbeard slobs LOL and many of them are incompetent hypocrites

3/5 for me

Don’t bother. Pynchon is such a chore to read

Good review.
I went in not knowing anything about it.

I can separate my political views from my entertainment for the most part, but this one romanticized a ton of the radical lefts points of view.

It was too long. Didn't care for the ending at all as I felt it kind of threw away anything we learned about the characters in the last 30-45 minutes.

Great acting, very well made. Kept me engaged enough but I wouldn't really suggest it to anyone other than to watch it so we can discuss it, not because I thought it was great overall.

Catch it on streaming if you want, or not.

While I would classify that post as post-viewing thoughts and not a "review," I'll bite. What do you disagree with?
