Thought it was great. I can understand the complaint that people thought it was pointless for 2 hours, so if you want a movie with a straightforward plot line then you may not like this one. But I never found myself bored, I was thoroughly entertained. All the time we spend with the characters made the last 25 minutes that much better and funnier.

People have been giving Pitt a ton of praise and saying he stole the movie, and he was great (as was everyone else) but I thought Leo was fantastic

It’s no Pulp Fiction or IB, but better than 95% of the movies out there these days. 8.5/10

Of course they're full of shite..."exageratte"is putting mildly.Unless you took a Xanax or Lorazepam it's virtually impossible to fall asleep at a movie with modern day sound systems.

They're being beyond childish by trying to enhance their point with this narrative.

I have to say, that’s not true. I ended up sitting it a very large lady during midsumar who promptly fell asleep and started snoring horribly loudly.

I moved across the entire theater cans could still here her snoring.

I saw this today...and while watching it I was a bit confused at times at just what the hell and why it was happening. But after I thought about it for a few hours later...it all kind of makes sense,

It's a fantasy love letter to Tarantino's childhood, mixed with he Manson stuff.

Pitt does steal the show..and there were multiple times that I thought to myself "damn, DiCaprio really can't act at all, this part is really miscast" but then he'd salavage it.

It's also kind of 3 different movies at once. A horror thriller with Pitt at the rnach, basically a behind ten scenes meltdown if Rick Dalton, and a display of humanity and simplicity and goodness with the Tate stuff, which I later realized was just an homage to what is basically and angelic, innocent being that was taken from the world by psychopaths.

She is truly almost a supernatural character in her innocence and goodness.

Yes, the movie I think is pretty flawed. But as someone else said, I'd rather see it than 99% of the rest of what is coming out nowadays.

This is absolutely untrue. I didn't fall asleep in this one but I fall asleep all the time in movies.

I still don't know what happened in the last Star Trek and they don't ever seem to play it on TV.

Was that the one where they save the galaxy with Beastie Boys? You probably are better off napping

I was on the fence with it. I thought he was allowing himself to daydream, but could see him remembering as well. Funny scene either way.

Loved it. I do understand people saying it was slow. I dont mind slow.

Tarantino makes movies so pleasing to the eyes and ears.

At the end when Margot Robbie came out to meet Leo she was wearing the same jersey Sharon Tate was wearing when she was slaughtered.
____________

Tate was wearing a bikini type garment when she was brutally murdered.

It was Pitt remembering. I thought it was a daydream as well until I realized he was wearing a tux and so was Leo, but in real time Leo was shooting the western and Bruce Lee wasn't in it as well.

Either way, it was a really good way for Tarantino to set up the fact that Cliff Booth is an absolute Madman.

That quote and the hitch hiking hippie are the most memorial of the movie. The hippie reminded me of the times I ran into these ladies..... really sexy but you realize there was a dark side to them, and you didn't want to see it. Sort of an extremely happy bubbly side that had to be balanced out.

It was decent, but it has to go on the lower tier list of QT's films.

But even QTs worst film is better than 90% of the crap being churned out these days. The soundtrack (as always) was amazing and the visuals (as always) as well.

Pitt was great, and it was awesome to see Leo and Brad in the same film.

QT is a legend, but seems he's on the decline.

There is also an Easter Egg referring to Inglorious Basterds when the narrator is going through the Italian movies Dalton made.

One of the movies was directed by Antonio Marghareti (Sp) which is one of the cover names used in IB at the Nation's Pride premier.
