It’s wild that we’ve farther away from when the movie came out than that movie was from 1976. (By a lot)

My cousin used to teach wood shop in the classroom from the movie. Very little had changed in the 20 years post-filming. Unfortunately for him he wasn't a fan of the movie.
Back in '96 my fraternity had an entire semester where we alternated between this and Braveheart every night. At one point most of us had the scripts committed to memory.
