Watched an early 90's comedy called Mo Money with Damon Wayans and Artificial Intelligence was discussed as the foundation for the Dynasty Credit Card company where he worked. Second one that comes to mind is War Games in the early 80's with Matthew Broderick. Plot was about AI and machine learning to stop a nuclear apocalypse. What you got?

Yea - contrary to probably popular belief, the concept of AI is nothing new at all. Just some of the methods to implement it have changed.

Isn't AI (Skynet) the overarching bad guy in the Terminator series?
Are androids a form of AI? If so there are dozens of examples from R2 and 3PO in Star Wars to Twiki and Dr. Theopolis in Buck Rogers.

There have been so many books, movies, tv shows, etc, that you would think we might be pumping the breaks on this whole AI proliferation thing. But just like always we can't help ourselves. We gotta touch the hot stove.

What I loved about "Colossus: The Forbin Project" is that it does not give you the expected Hollywood ending.
That ending was like, Damnnnnnn....
A must-watch.

Johnny Five is Alive
Fischer Stevens would like for us to forget this film, but this is when he was with Michelle Pfeiffer so who are we to judge.
