What??
You realize the cell phone tower construction scene was like a 25 year flashback right?

It wasn’t. It was Rips.

It’s called a conservation easement. It totally blocks future development. Something I didn’t understand why they didn’t do from the jump.
Pretty common on some parcels. You can carve out certain areas for future development. It’s not an all or none thing. Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation works with land owners to do it.

Oh I actually missed that.
See like I said, they’re making it hard to follow at times

Am I the only one that noticed how they completely dropped the storyline about Jamie’s child? I really want to try and justify all of these writing errors in my mind, but I cannot do it any longer. Taylor Sheridan is going to turn this show into GOT at the end and it is really pissing me off.

Taylor learned from the master Kurt Sutter about writing to many plot lines and then just have random deaths/explosions

That’s actually a great comparison tbh

Pretty sure the poisoned cow was a flashback to earlier times. It had a younger John Dutton and teenage Rip doing the damage to the tractors.
Unless I missed something else

Which, for some reason, helped push the horses to Canada. Why not get in front of the horses with it?
Also, did anyone notice during the governor’s party, during the corral dance scene, how far apart everyone was dancing?

I expected much more traffic after a season premiere. I guess everyone thought it kinda sucked.

a bit slow getting going this season.
Monica - quick to assign blame when it's on someone else.
Has a whole ranch full of people who would have rushed to help her, a reservation full of folks who would have helped, a chairman and his sidekick who owe her one for being the bait in a trap.
And, with all of the references to "trying again", you know the damage caused by the crash will make that impossible.
Drives like a maniac while in labor with the son in the car. crashes kills her baby, injures herself and her son.
oh , let's not "should have" any more.
Colby and Ryan shoot protected wolves, didn't get tags, stick the tracker on a log and float it down stream. doesn't fall off and is now stuck somewhere, probably on Yellowstone property. I get they are trying not to have problems early on in John's Governorship but, they just can't help themselves. they HAVE to cover up everything.
no way this comes back to bite them, right?
John's plan for the conservation easement means no one can develop the lad, right? i mean, that makes sense because that's exactly what he wants.
Why didn't the whole "zoning" issue come up from the beginning? Or did I miss that part during the last 2 seasons?
Jamie, is he going to get pussy whipped into turning on the family once again? Or, is he going the to be the player this time and use his relationship with the new chick to work things in the family's favor?
Beth, I can handle her in small doses. I kind of enjoy seeing her belittle the players in the bar who hit on her. Her hate for Jamie is kind of warranted but, she lets that cloud her judgement in a lot of the professional settings.
Are we finally done with the barrel racers? Please let it be so!

This is pretty much me to a T. My wife loves it, I think it's ok. Good enough that I'll keep watching, but I don't think it's some great show.

Jesus how much more Beth hating on Jamie can they shove down our throat?
We get it, you hate him. Every thing he says she has to interrupt with the best put down ever
