She definitely wanted a weapon to try and kill Negan. This is why she asked for a gun, knife, blade, glass, etc. She knew she was going to die and wanted to take him out before she did.
Eugene thought she was serious about ending her own life, and snuck her the pill. Her look of complete disappointment when she got the pill told us all we needed to know.
If she were smart (huge 'if') she would just play along and the second Negan turned his back she would make her move. But she can't do something simple like that, I suppose.

Why did Eugene give her the pill in a zip lock? Wouldn't that give it away that somebody gave it to her? He could have just rolled the pill in. I don't think it would matter if it got a little bit dirty.
I don't think people understand Negan. He's bored and just wants to mess with people. It gives him pleasure to twist/turn people and get them to do want they don't want to. The guy lives like a king. He has all the women and food he wants. He knows that the world will probably never come back, so there are no consequences.
The tower with a birds nest to snipe the foundry would never exist. Negan is too smart for that. If they would have been smart, they would have found a couple of tractor trailers, filled them with fertilizer and McVeighed the compound. But it looks like the fight is coming to Alexandia..

If she was smart she wouldn't have run into the compound in the first place. She would've stayed in the building and sniped him at the next good opportunity.

Did I hear Tara say that they would bring the guns back to Oceanside when the war was over? I thought they needed the guns to give to the trashies so that they would agree to fight. How are they planning on getting the guns back to give back to the fish eating women?

Not mad just his character is so boring to me and really does not add much to the show. To be honest in my opinion he could die and the show would not miss a beat. I have never read the comics so I only know him from the series and not a fan.
It does not help the last few seasons the show itself in the second of half of the season is so predictable which makes following character lines very interesting and the story line is just blah, but Rick is probably the least interesting for me of all the main characters.

thats the problem with these vigilante missions to kill negan...they cant be successful because it messes up the story, and we already know that going in
1) carl had him in his sights, didnt shoot
2) rosita had him point plank, missed
3) sasha had him in the crosshairs of the rifle, didnt shoot
4) any number of people if they truly were willing to sacrifice themselves could have killed him by now many times over
just skip the hero shite and get to the war we all know is coming. the "suicide" raids that dont result in actual suicide are pointless and stupid

she didn't have that great of a shot, and couldn't risk missing.
All the other points I agree with wholeheartedly. Especially Carl. At least Rosita actually tried. Corral all talk and no action.

I believe the comics clear up why this wouldn't work. Negan, even though he is bad, does at least keep some degree of law and order among a crew of very despicable people. Killing off Negan would cause the rest of his gang to split into smaller sub groups that would go on a rampage of rape and pillaging of all the surrounding groups. These groups are all left with very few guns so they would not be able to defend against them.

Doubtful. Had Negan been aware of the Alexandria Safe Zone earlier (back when she was sneaking off all the time), he would have already been taking their stuff before even the Wolves attacked.
