The group lost one and has another on her deathbed. Doesn't seem like something a group out for themselves only would do.

I think Deanna knew Gabriel was full of shite from the get go. She already had Glenn call her son out, then Tobin vouches for Abraham and she already had word from Aaron that they were good people. My guess is Gabriel gets the boot before the end of the season.

Another excellent point. It's not like the group is just showing up minus the 2 Alexandria guys. The next 2 episodes are going to be awesome.

I mean the story is plausible considering they lost their own and brought back Nick when they could/should of let him die. But people don't think rationally right after their kid dies. Gabriel is just telling her that they are bad people seconds before she is about to find out Glenn who previously knocked her son on his arse comes back without her son.
I think she is going to absolutely flip her shite on Rick and the group...although I really don't know what exactly they can do...none of them seem like the fighting type and the ones that are just got killed/injured or is out scouting. I guess they do have guns locked up though while Rick and co are mostly armless with the exception of Carol and Rick having a pistol.
Should be a good ending to the season...I hope its just batshit crazy for 2 weeks and doesn't leave a huge cliffhanger last like season

I really want to see him get torn apart. Rick and crew did bad things so they could protect themselves from murdering assholes. Gabriel locked people out and hoarded a bunch of food for himself because he was a pussy. He is selling out the people responsible for him being alive. Gabriel deserves a worse fate than any on the show. Zero redeeming qualities.

I think Glenn and Noah were out of ammo, and the other guy lost his rifle outside. So Glenn was trying to break the glass instead of shoot it.

Exactly. And not only that, they also dragged Gabriel's useless arse all the way up there. If they were "evil" they would have let him stew in his own juices back in Georgia AND if he thought they were so bad, he shouldn't have hooked up with them.
Maybe Deanna won't turn on Rick and the group but the a-hole doctor will make big deal about it. Other than him and the jerk who panicked and got Noah killed I can't think of any Alexandria people who are anti Rick's crew. (Of course if it comes out that Carol took a gun and terrorized that kid into keeping quiet about it, that could look very bad on the group (hell, I think Carol is very close to the edge myself).

Ricktatorship is approaching fast...

quote:I think Deanna isn't stupid and trusts them...I just think is going to get caught up in her son dying and not use logic...especially since she is finding out that he is dead seconds after hearing Gabriel. I don't know if she's lost any other immediate family to this point...but it seems to change a lot of characters when they lose siblings/spouses/children. IIRC, even Rick had a little crazy phase when he lost his wife. Not to mention it probably being the thing that made the Governor crazy when he was keeping his daughter and then Michone killed her zombie.
Exactly. And not only that, they also dragged Gabriel's useless arse all the way up there. If they were "evil" they would have let him stew in his own juices back in Georgia AND if he thought they were so bad, he shouldn't have hooked up with them.
All this plus we don't even know the timeline the way the scene unfolded...Rick could have gone to confront the husband as Gabriel is talking. Rick could have killed him already or at the least gone over there to start a big confrontation that gets broken up by the return and news of the guy dying. So now you have a lot of really emotional people in one space with tempers flaring.
I don't know...I have high expectations for the last 2 episodes and haven't really speculated this much before. It was a hell of an episode. I think shite is going to hit the fan and I doubt they're still in Alexandria when the next season starts...I'm sure somebody is gonna die too. Should be exciting

I must say, this season has exceeded my expectations. I look forward to this show again, which is nice.

This is the first time in a couple of years I've actually thought about the episode Monday. Usually my roommate has to remind to watch it on Sundays
But I can't wait for the next 2 wees

What about when Gabriel, Tyrese, Noah, and Morgan were all alive for at least an entire seasons worth of shows?

I think Gabriel's motivation is simply that he's bat shite crazy. Everything about him in his talk with Deanna (and before from when he was ripping up the bible) seemed to indicate someone who was not firmly in touch with sanity.
I agree. I don't think he is being manipulative and trying to turn Deanna against Rick & co., just that he's freaking nuts and feels like he has to warn her of impending doom and he's sighted in on Rick as the bringer of doom. He kind of reminded me of the nutjobs who walk around telling everyone "The end is near!"

The only "issue" that may come up is when Glenn returns and has to tell Deanna that Spencer is dead.
You keep saying Spencer, but I think that's Deanna's other son who is still alive. The one who was killed last night was Aiden; Spencer is the son who greeted Sasha at the cocktail party. I wonder how he'll react to news of Aiden's death?

2 things that continually bother me
the group knows 2 things for sure-
1. covering themselves in zombie blood makes you invisible to them
2. keeping a couple of armless/jawless ones around also makes you invisible to them (somehow)
yet they never use it
also the zombies behind the fence in the building should have been dispatched right away, why take the chance that nothing will go wrong

Let's have the survivors do everything right and get along well with everyone they meet so no one ever dies. That would make a great show.

Just finished watching and reading the thread.
I think an internal conflict will happen in Alexandria, but it's gonna be interrupted by an external force of either zombies or another group of humans.
