Come on, stop killing off the black dudes.
There are a lot, but let's be real. A lot of people would shoot them on sight anyways even if they hadn't turned.

Just finished...I live out west, so I don't get to watch the show until about two hours after the rest of you.
Cinematography was awesome. The slo-mo zombie kill fest while we were witnessing it through Ty's eyes was some of the best work I've seen on TV. The random flashing light/obscure transitions between some of the shots was a little overkill...reminded me of Michael Bay's affinity for light flares. Minor bitch, though. Excellent work. The only zombie kill that looked CGI was Noah stabbing the twin zombie with model plane.
I was surprised how emotional I got during the show. I was more angry than anything that Ty was bit (twice). I really wanted his character to have a chance to grow and reach his potential. Oh, well. I wasn't really sad about his death. However, all the past characters coming back really was tough. Beth, the girls, Bob...I had feels. Then the Gov and that a-hole who chewed gum like Gus Malzahn...complete anger again. Michonne's desperation to find a place, any place, tossed in the mix and it was a roller coaster. I really felt for the group during the final scene on the road. Heart-wrenching.
I have a theory regarding the various body parts and torsos, but that "W" in the forehead kind of threw my thought-process for a loop. I don't know what any of it meant...

A bit of graffiti reads, “Wolves Not Far.”
Don't know if they referred to people as wolves or actual wolves because it looks like some in the preview clip.

So we've gone from T-Dog to Tyrese to Noah. This is called downgrading, people.
Noah is W-Dawg... as in WEAK Dawg.

Just setting it up for morgan to reach the group around DC. Noah you will be missed. Rip

They were still near Atlanta when Morgan was tracking them. Now they are 3 states away. If Morgan finds them anytime soon I'll be annoyed.
In all these seasons they struggled to travel very far at all yet in one episode they can drive 6-8 hours on roads that are probably blocked by cars and bodies??

I was thinking the same thing. Unless the marks on the trees and the roads being cleared are attributed to the whoever's patrolling and collecting folks.

on the Talking Dead after the show, they said 17 days had passed since the death of Beth

I did think it was hilarious that a crippled Noah kept outrunning everybody over and over
This

And he can't fight off the other walker? It's weird, one episode he's a beast and the next he can't even fend off a fragile walker.
And this annoyed the shite out of me
And where did zombie twin come from? The closet? Or was it like a Jack and Jill bathroom setup and he was the one behind the closed door? Either way, you either A) hear a zombie in a closet or B) you see that there is a zombie there behind a door and when you walk into the adjoining room notice open doors. Just hard to look past big time inconsistencies when dealing with characters who are supposed to be experts and dealing with this kind of shite by now

Morgan has Rick's map to DC.

Anyone got the official count on how much show vs. commercial time we got? Couldn't have been much more than 40 minutes of show.

I'm not a huge fan of Noah, but I will give him props for taking out his twin brother immediately when he saw that Tyrese was in trouble. One of the reoccurring things we see in the show is characters having trouble taking out loved ones after they have turned.

First commercial didn't come until like the 23 minute mark if I remember correctly
(Not counting the commercials right after the title sequence)

Another episode with bad acting, obvious in-your-face CGI, Beth playing/singing with a guitar, and of course The Governor. We're not supposed to let him go for some reason.
Can't wait for the spinoff.

But they came fast and furious (and long) after that. Up until the last segment of the show, which was a little longer.

I thought this was one of the shows best episodes. Was really hoping Tyrese would have a chance to become more like his comic version but oh well. That hammer was never used correctly.
Rick pulling the rebar out of that zombie and killing it with it was great.

i haven't read this thread yet (i will when i have some downtime), so i don't know if i'm in the minority or not....but as far as i'm concerned, good riddance to tyrese. he had more than enough time to come to terms with the situation around him, but he still wanted to be "mr. holier-than-thou idealist". it's one thing to yearn for the way things were, but it's another when your beliefs are jeopardizing the safety of the rest of the group. the folks on 'talking dead' want to vault his character into sainthood, and i'm like "why?!?!" yeah, he might've had an awakening of sorts near the end, but it was too little too late for me.... flame away, i reckon

Did not advance the story at all except for proving Tyreese is a moron
They traveled to Virginia and now plan to go to D.C. after spending the entire series next to Atlanta. But, yeah, no story advancement.
