I'll agree with you on that. I would put anyone left on idol vs the best left on voice this season and they would slaughter the voice.
Last season the voice was strong. I liked dia and Javier. Idol had garbage last year.

I agree... I loved Javier last year. One of my favorite covers on any singing show was Javier's cover of fix you.

Katrina/Tony is a tossup, but if it's purely America voting, I think Tony has it.
Jermaine should be the final for Team Blake.
Team Christina should be Chris Mann, I just don't know if America will keep voting for him being that he's all opera.
Team CeeLo will 100% be Jamar if it's solely America voting. Dude has pipes, no doubt, but his backstory all but guarantees his final spot IMO. I do like Jamar though, mainly because he seems to genuinely care the most out of everyone. Juliet is awesome, but I just don't think she can overcome the popularity of Jamar. Although if she sings Joplin like we talked about, she could have a chance if she kills it (which she is tailor-made to do with a Joplin song).
It's weird that in most of the final pairings, there is clearly a better one IMO. But in CeeLo's, Jamar and Juliet are both really good.
So I think it's Tony Lucca, Jermaine Paul, Chris Mann, and Jamar Rogers. I think Jamar wins it.

The more I think about Juliet, I think a stripped down version of Mercedez Benz would be brilliant. The song itself is almost devoid of music anyway (in some versions the only "music" is light clapping), so just have her sitting there on a stool in front of a microphone.
Not only would she sing the frick out of the song, but it would be cool to see Team CeeLo kill all of the huge production and busy stage shite and just showcase how unique her voice is. Plus, for younger kids who aren't familiar with the song, it's simple and catchy and as frick, and would immediately draw them in. I think that would be a brilliant move by Juliet/CeeLo.

Do they have to keep them split up into teams still? I mean its the final 8, it should just be the best stays on, and eliminate the weakest out of all teams. If your team has the two best singers then why not get rewarded for your decisions on who you kept up till now, and get rid of the weakest people even if they are on the same team?

So the top 4 move on to the finals, but is this just the top person from each team, or the best 4 outright?
It would suck to see someone good go home just because they are against someone very talented on their own team, against a team that has 2 weak contestants left.

4 performances per hour, plus one performance from a judge, and scores from the judges at the end. That is still about 20 minutes worth of stupid and useless filler which has nothing to do with this show we will have to watch.
