Well, Erin definitely has better pipes than Jermaine, but Jermaine is 10X better performer on stage/more entertaing and is definitely more popular with the public.
Considering the above I have no clue how Blake would vote. It is gonna be hard for Jermaine to outperform Erin, but Blake might just keep in mind who has a chance of winning with the public vote.
I think Tony, and Jamar/Juliet easily have the fast track to winning. The latter 2 because they are pretty good, but moreso because they are the 3 most popular left on the show.

I haven't really thought of it that way but you probably are right.
I have liked Skylar and I liked Elise's first performance last week. (Seriously, I have watched it again, Elise was AWESOME in that first song).

not quite(at least I don't believe). Carson said the coaches rank them, and that combined with America's vote apparently determines the final 4.

Exactly!
This show is definitely geared toward more pop, mainstream. Plus, if we are judging on Opera voices there a tons of amazing Opera singers out there.

Someone had to go, if it was anyone else other than my girl, I would have been rooting like hell for elise to stay.
I think I am going to die this week though. I am so nervous about the performances this week and results show. Looks like another group therapy session in the idol thread for me this thursday
