Since the Star Wars film follow a formula for their titles, The first in each trilogy referring to an individual, the second being an act of aggression, and the third being a retaliation. I am willing to bet the "The Force" being referred to in the title is in reference to a person and not necessarily The Force as we know it.

Brienne definitely has a Star Wars look to her.

Stupid title. This movie will be a disaster. Will not be seeing it.

Could this be the end of someone like R2D2, C3PO or Chewy?

I doubt R2D2 or C3PO are going anywhere as the series has been regarded as being viewed through their eyes.

However, I do expect one of the main trio to be killed off before the 3rd movie. If it is Luke, he still likely will be there in some capacity as a force ghost.

I think I am more curious how Han and Leia are portrayed. Do they follow the old EU and have them husband and wife, or had they drifted apart after "Jedi?" They could go the Indiana Jones Crystal Skull route where they have a rekindled romance after reuniting 30 years later.

I like it. Was actually a little worried about the title.

will be interesting to see who is playing the "big bad"...Adam Driver is playing teh primary villain in this one but all sources indicate he is being controlled by someone else...some rumours have said its Lupita Loongo's character. I really hope that isn't true

this movie is going to suck.

i want it to be good. But its going to suck. It will be better than the phantom menace but not as good as attack of the clones or anything from the first trilogy.

As long as it isn't about politics and trade embargoes.

Why? At worst I think it will be good not great. The critical failure of the prequels has caused this movie to come together very carefully. My worst fear is that it ends up being a "safe" movie that doesn't really do much emotionally other than being a new SW film.

The bar was raised so high based on the iconic status of the original trilogy. It opened up a new world for our imaginations, and created some of the most beloved characters of all time.

The movies were goofy, yet dark. Intriguing and fun. They built a whole new mythology that made kids feel like they could be Jedi too if they just believed. It was a shame that the last series really left such a bad taste in fans' mouths.

Stupid midichloians.
