I’ve always said Rey should have been Luke’s child or the younger sibling of a teenage student of Luke’s.

She shows more power at 4-5 than anyone else has ever shown, Luke makes her his top priority, Ben gets jealous, Snoke - a wealthy benefactor who says he wants to help Luke build his Jedi Academy but is secretly working with Palpatine - uses that jealousy to turn Ben and bring him into the fold of his own dark side special forces team (Knights of Ren, with Ren being the name of an ancient Sith that was from Snoke’s planet).

And y’all stop engaging Cuckeye, a dookie flavored lollipop with feathers makes more sense and has more purpose than he does.

She was 5-6 years old when that happened, right?

How old was Anakin when he trained as a pilot?

Is this not right?

Right or wrong it's extremely believable. Certain demographics in this country have kids a lot younger than others.

Anakin Skywalker is the son of Shmi Skywalker and she told him he was born without a father through The Force, though Anakin later discovered that his father was technically Palpatine, who had manipulated the Force to conceive him.

What is wikipedia using as the source for that?

I’d be interested to see where this part is confirmed. I haven’t seen it, but I’m not saying it’s wrong. Just have never seen it.

ETA: I’ve always seen Palpatine as responsible for Anakin’s birth, but I don’t think he actually tried to do it. I’ve always seen it as more of a residual unintended opposing reaction by the force.

Anakin is a force baby. The palpatine creating that force baby has never been confirmed. Just a lot of dot connecting.

If you say 9 now why did you ask if he was 5-6 when trained as a pilot?

They are right, you are trolling.

quote:

The name resonated in young Anakin’s heart and soul. He hadn’t seen her in a decade, not since he, along with Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, had helped her in her struggle against the Trade Federation on Naboo. He had only been ten years old at that time, but from the moment he had first laid eyes on Padmé, young Anakin had known that she was the woman he would marry. Never mind that Padmé was several years older than he was. Never mind that he was just a boy when he had known her, when she had known him. Never mind that Jedi were not allowed to marry.

That isn't what I asked.

I asked how old he was. Then I looked it up. That's how it works when you don't remember something.

I'm not surprised that you were wrong.

In 'The Phantom Menace' (set in 32 BBY) Anakin is aged 9 and Padmé is 14. He turns ten during the film.

...and it's not like he just decided to pick up piloting when the movie started.

Apparently the info may have originated from the Darth comic which is NOT canon...

Lol.

Troll else where.

Rey was not 9 not 10 and no information of any training.

Like I said. She was so young she can’t remember her parents.

There are books and lore behind Anakin.

Everything on Reys past is speculation because she started as a Mary Sue and filled in the rest later.

That is how bad writing works. The authors probably wipe back to front as well.

My 5 year old can drive every motorized piece of equipment or vehicle or toy I own. He just can't reach the petals and needs some assistance.

Country living. You should see my 2 year old driving. It's amazing what he can do.

The Marvel Vader comics are canon. 2017 series is way better than 2015.

Just got out of the movie and you guys are a bunch of whiny pussies. That was a very good movie. Can’t wait for a 2nd watch.

Oh, and 500 replies for a movie everyone said they wouldn’t see

I never said that. Lol. I was destined to watch regardless. Some things from childhood are hard to let go haha.

Plus, I really liked Rogue One and the Mandilorian.

I still have hope it can be saved but fear the power creep turning this shite into a marvel movie.
