This episode was just great and am shocked anyone disliked this episode. I particullarly liked the scene where Butters wakes up naked and opens the window just to discover the Mexicans thinking of him as the Messiah, a great reference to "The Life of Brian" (and I'd honesly say this has had more influence on South Park than any other film).

And watched the documentary as well. My respect for Matt and especially Trey skyrocketed. I knew about all this stuff, but hadn't really seen it in person yet. Listening to Trey's self doubt and defending Matt when some of the fans criticize him for not physically writing the scripts and songs. Great documentary.

When does it re run? I missed most of it.

Matt doesn't write any scripts or songs?

His analogy to Van Halen was perfect IMO. Paraphrasing:

"It's like Van Halen...Eddie Van Halen writes everything, but without David Lee Roth, Van Halen (and Eddie) is nothing. Matt is David Lee Roth. Matt and Trey are the band."

Disagree. I found this episode extremely unfunny.

I'm guessing liberal that thinks we should do whatever we can to help mexicans?

You literally could not have guessed any more incorrectly. Believe it or not, I actually found the episode just not funny.

I like how they stay on top current events. This week it was the Mexicans leaving Alabama.

What's next...?

Iranian assassination plot

eta: It would be a perfect episode for Randy as Jack Bauer.

I want to see Cartman rip into the Occupy folks. And Randy AS an Occupy guy.

Interesting, Cartman does have experience dealing with the hippie problem. I could see the government calling upon his expertise in this area.

Just watched this.

Loved the Life of Brian shout out.

I am a Butters fan, so I like Butters-centric episodes. I really like how he inspired a nation and how he could control a crowd with his hands.

GOOOOOAAAAAL!!

This week's episode.

October 17, 2011 - The kids most scandalous secrets are being revealed on-line, in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled, "Bass to Mouth," premiering on Wednesday, October 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

The students of South Park Elementary are the victims of a new gossip website. An elusive hacker has somehow gained access into the student's confidential phone calls and e-mails and is posting all their juicy stories. The boys are shocked when they discover the identity of the hacker.

I actually liked south Park more when they weren't jsut rehashing current issues. Like the tooth fairy mafia or the poop ot of your mouth episode. Of course, there are some episodes like Rainforest that are kind of current issue-esque that ht homeruns. And some off the wall ones that bomb, like the pan flute ones.
