Alliances have been around forever and for the most part they work for the dominant alliance.

This season has been insane with the named alliances.

Started out wonky with Devin adding 2 extra members to his MEGA alliance and it has been pretty crazy all season.

The producers should just stop with egging on the naming of every fracking meeting.

Rachel I could have just fricked for days on end.

I agree
This is when it got all screwed up. An “alliance” just means you align with somebody else’s goals. It does not mean you are on a “team” with them. And in this game, goals change all the time. Ever since the Brigade, these people have gotten this mixed up. This is still Big Brother and it’s an individual’s game and you better watch your own azz!!!

Actually Chilltown was the first alliance that I can remember forming that actually played as a team back in season 2. I remember in the All-star season, they were just worried about just one of them making it to the end (now granted, they were business partners by the All-star season).

Which is exactly why no one will tell him until minutes before, if at all.

It's gonna be even more boring if Zack leaves.

Derrick, Cody and Frankie better think twice about this one. Zack would never put them up, Jocasta probably would.

Victoria will vote however Derrick votes even though she hates Zack. Caleb will vote with them...they convinced him to vote out Amber...they can convince him to do anything at this point.

He could pull it off, but I think his erratic behavior is the nail in his coffin. I just want him to stay because he's the only one in the house with any balls.

That's not what Derrick and Cody are worried about. If they vote against Nicole then Nicole and Hayden will know that Derrick & Cody lied to them, and Nicole and Hayden will be gunning for them. I think they could probably care less if Jocasta is coming after them.

I guess being scared of Nicole and Harden is enough for them to vote out Zack. All of these people are so worried about getting blood on their hands you'd think they would keep Zack around since he doesn't care.

With all of these alliances the only way to know where loyalties really lie is in the DR sessions.

This cast is as weak as last year's. They are all so concerned with "going with the house" and it prevents all of them from making a bold move. At this point, does any one of them really deserve to win? Frankie has the wins, but he is Andy with athletic ability. Derrick has the social game of an All Star, but will he be able to win when he has to?

Why is Jocasta always sick? Does she have the aids?

I would stay the frick away from her if I were in that house.

I think the Battle of the Block crap has contributed some to this. You can't put up strong players because if they win the BoB not only could they could come after you the next week, but if they are tight with the HoH who's nominees do stay on the block, they could convince the HoH to put you up and you could go home all because you took a chance and put two strong players up.

Even Donny said when he won HoH with Nicole, that he had a separate plan if the BoB was no longer in effect. The BoB is detrimental to risk taking in this game.

I like the idea initially. It was one of those rare instances in which a new addition to the game was actually interesting. Also, theoretically, it prevented floaters from getting through (although this didn't always happen).

I am, however, ready for it to be done away with after Thursday night.

When was the last time, prior to the last saaaaay 4 or 5 houseguests, that there was a relatively close house vote? There haven't been any this season and I don't recall any last season.

Obviously as numbers dwindle you'll have more parity, but with there still a good amount of folks in the house, it seems like it's been years since there was actually a pretty close vote.

on youtube the old seasons are available. we watched some from season two and it is laughable how bad the production standards were and how naive the players used to be

season two was mike boogie, dr will, bunkie, etc.

Present day, it is painfully obvious how directly involved production is in the show and how much the players are self aware on the show.
