If you are in the restaurant industry in the FQ, you know the mob.

On a side note, ended up at a mob bar in Chicago last wknd and it was literally like being in a movie.

I think her body is better than her face.
Well, there goes all of my hopes and dreams....
Do or die for the Eagles. Was about to start getting mad and give up on this game, but that last play has the Birds still in it. What a dummy. Thanks Kirk, keep it up!

Trader Joe's Mini Dark Chocolate Mint Stars are everything. Better than Thin Mints.
I'm usually loyal to Southwest, but I've used Spirit a lot because I fly between NOLA and Chicago frequently on the weekends. I've never had any problems, but I know a lot of people who have. I probably would pay a bit more on a different airline if it was a high travel time. Recently paid $80 round trip though, so you can't really beat that.

I can appreciate and understand why people love her voice, she is amazing. Her music is just so incredibly depressing I can't get into it. I don't understand why so many people want to listen to such depressing stuff, it just brings me down.

RPM was the best Italian I've had outside of Italy. I love that place.

Jordan singing Climb Every Mountain was incredible. No way anyone else beats that performance other than Jordan himself

It is one of my fave songs and that performance gave me chills. Then again, most of his performances do. I think Jordan by far has the best voice. Nobody is even close to his level. Emily Ann will give him a run for his money in terms of votes though. I hope he wins.
Best present I ever gave was a Filson briefcase.
Korin had to be put out of her misery, I guess. I was rooting for her because she was like a cat that had 9 lives, but it was definitely her time. Braiden sang better tonight than last night. Radioactive did nothing for him at all. Song choice is everything at this point.

Jordan is my favorite. That kid's voice is ridiculous.

My favorite was "What do you think the company's problems are and how can you fix them?" First words out of her mouth, no hello or anything.

In NOLA Finn McCools used to fry turkeys for people, but too many people started doing it I guess.

They still do it. You bring your own turkey and they will fry it for you on Weds.
They are probably reading this thread right now.

Let's just say I'm glad I don't live in DC.

This is pretty spot on. Po-Boy fest is one of the few festivals worth going to IMO.
I'm in the city. I live near Wrigley and work down on Wacker. I take the L pretty much everywhere, it's so easy to get around.
I just made the move from NOLA to Chicago. It was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Found a job in no time once I got here. Lots of opportunities I never would have had in NOLA.

I have not found the cost of living to be much different. It will be my first winter but everybody I talk to that lives here really doesn't make a big deal out of it.
Didn't bother me in NOLA. Now that I'm in Chicago, most of my time during commute to Wacker is spent waiting for people to cross the darn street while texting and walking at a snail's pace.
About to buy a sectional from West Elm. Never purchased from there before, but I have friends who have that were very happy. It seems to be decent quality and reasonably priced.
