What is his crime?

Tax evasion, Money laundering, Hiding illegal money. Who knows what other stuff they could throw at him. Conspiracy to commit murder, drug dealing, obstruction of justice. It could go on and on.

Tax evasion is the most obvious. They know from Huell that he helped get those barrels full of money hidden.

Saul wouldn't have ran if he didn't have good reason. He is in some serious shite.

If you are saying that Kim and Jimmy have some sort of connection during Breaking Bad, I don't think many would disagree with you. Clearly he is in Omaha for a reason and we know Kim is likely from that region. That doesn't make her one half of Saul Goodman. Saul Goodman is Jimmy McGill. I watched Breaking Bad and I have watched Better Call Saul...we already know that much. Your J+K=S posts are just annoying to read.

No. Not definitively, but Gene would have to have been hired as manager. Probably not enough time to work his way up through promotion.

You can too can be a store manager starting today at Cinnabon if you can speak proper English, add, and bathe at least 3 times a week. No experience necessary.

Saul Goodman is a person and a business. I believe Kim is very involved in the business of Saul Goodman. She is the partner in Saul Goodman's law practice.

So don't read them. Problem solved.

And you still didn't say why this isn't plausible.

We are going to find out soon enough. Let's change the subject. There's more to the show than this topic.

The point is if it's just money stuff they can actually trace to him (which is the most likely scenario) then the statue of limitations will run out in just a few years. Not sure how long Saul has been gone and Gene has been chilling but he might not have to hide forever now that the people who might want to kill him should be dead or gone.

THIS. Everyone I watch the show with, understandably so, roots for Jimmy at every turn. Much like Gilligan made us hate Skylar White, he's made us hate Chuck.

Both are much better people than their counterpart, not that they're perfect, but they try to do the right thing more often than not. Meanwhile, we cheer as Walt kills and cooks and Jimmy cons.

Vince Gilligan is television.

I agree with you that Gilligan and the showrunners have done a wonderful job making us root against the voices of reason in both Breaking Bad and BCS. It's not an easy thing to do well.

But Skyler's hatred is much different than Chuck's. Chuck is fundamentally correct in why Jimmy is unethical, but he has his own selfish, personal reasons that have clouded his judgment of Jimmy ever since he found out that he passed the New Mexico bar. He secretly undermined Jimmy's career and has been a snake in the grass, no matter how right he may be at times.

Skyler did pretty much nothing wrong in comparison to Chuck. People just hated her because she "looks like a petty bitch ugh I hate her why won't she let Walt be a criminal!"

You have never dealt with the IRS have you? There is no statute of limitations with those guys.

He was always egotistical. He walked out on his the what would become a multi-billion business because of it.

I don't believe it was revealed what the circumstances of his parting were, or how he ended up teaching high school chemistry. God, I hope they don't make that into another series.

quote:

He also refused to take his friends' payment and job offer and decided to ruin his family and multiple other people's lives by cooking meth instead.

Walt was already cooking meth with a very specific, limited goal in mind when he declined their offer, which he did out of pride and bitterness over having left the company. He didn't want to take what he perceived as charity, especially not from people who left him in the dust. Very, very human.

When I say Walt didn't start out a POS, I'm looking at the man who provided for his family by working two thankless, low-paying jobs, one way, way beneath him, for 20 years or whatever it was. He wasn't an abusive drunk, he didn't cheat on his wife, etc. His family loved him, and he loved them. He wasn't a happy, fulfilled man, but he was living within his lot in life as well as anyone could. He was fricking admirable, in fact. Then he got cancer, and this "frick everything" attitude came to the surface, a pretty natural reaction, which the show developed into a very unnatural transformation.

Honestly if you still don't think this show is good right now why continue to watch? Many of us believe this is one the most well written and best shows on TV currently. It may be really slow and uneventful compared to BB but it's still a great show in its own way.

Looks like we will see the return of Crazy 8 this week. Nacho is going to give him a hard time about something.

What in the hell does this even mean? It's a tv show for crying out loud. It's supposed to have a level of "unnatural" to it. That's where the entertainment exists.
