What I don't really get is why Jimmy was so afraid to show it to Cliff. I guess because he saw what the old commercial looked like and realized how conservative the partners would want to make the Sandpiper commercial. Regardless, he is a dumbfrick for thinking this won't get back to Kim.

Not only that, but anyone who's ever worked in marketing knows that even if he won them over to the idea of running a commercial, they'd drag out the process for weeks and weeks while they (non creative people) try to micromanage the people who they hired to do things that they aren't good at themselves.
I get that it's their firm, their brand, and Jimmy absolutely should have gotten approval first, but that's not what I'd expect a guy like Saul to do. To him, the ends justify the means. He'd rather get heat for getting results the wrong way than for not getting results at all.

maybe my memory on how all the characters fit together between shows is a little hazy, but why did everyone think that guy would be tuco or gus?
When the vet said this person specifically requested Mike by name, nacho is the only person that I even thought of. Think about it...he knows mike personally. He has seen mike do business and has transacted with him before. He sees mike is a level headed, no nonsense guy who made that idiot get rid of the hummer to calm the heat, plus he has a good heart as shown by going back after the baseball cards.
Other than seeing a quick shot of tuco in one of the early episodes of S1 has he even come up since? And in what way would gus already be involved with mike?

Using the stair lift as the Dolly was genius. He used the same film students from the billboard commercial, the lady and her lift as the dolly from his first succession case, dude is the McGuyver of making commercials

I just want to say I can't wait to get to Gus and his operation. We might not get the rise of Gus like we wanted but I think Gus gets in some trouble and Mike bails him out and gets hired.

Have we seen anything at all from Omaha and Saul's post-BB life, other than like 2 scenes to open episodes?

I called the phone number they used last night and got a very professional sounding voice mail about Sandpiper Crossing litigation.

Pretty sure that Mike's daughter in law is nothing more than a money hungry count.
So after watching this episode, I 100% stand by my statement.

wishful thinking is my guess. people want the show to jump immediately into that but i think we have a ways to go before we even see Gus.

And the Vet's got Dog Pain Pills that are the same as Vicodin.
Nacho's offering a lot of money fur something.

Yep, she definitely just wanted to move.
BTW, did anyone else find it ridiculous that Mike mistook the sound of newspaper delivery for gunshots?
Posted on 3/1/16 at 12:36 pm to Spock's Eyebrow
I thought he just pulled the gun out because he saw the car creeping down the road and it was late around the time of the previous gunshots.
Posted on 3/1/16 at 12:51 pm to Deactived
Nope, it was the sound of newspaper hitting the concrete that got his attention. There were two deliveries before the car's headlights even showed up in his rear view mirror.
Posted on 3/1/16 at 12:59 pm to Spock's Eyebrow
hmm i dont know. maybe it just made him come to. i cant see mike thinking a newspaper hitting the ground were gunshots
who knows though

Rewatch it. It couldn't have been clearer.
I guess Mike wanted to believe the daughter-in-law's story so much that he was practically hallucinating to find some truth in it. Even when she lied the next day about the nick in the wall, he still went along. He'll do anything not to lose the granddaughter, so he's become her bitch. That's the only way I can make sense of it.

word.
he went along because he wasnt supposed to be there.
Yea and it sucks. I guess this kind of explains why he left his money specifically for the granddaughter.
Will be interesting to see it unfold.
Really liking this season so far

I don't know about all that. Mike doesn't seem like the type to become anyone's bitch. I'm sure he has a plan.
