Can someone post a summary of what happened in the first half? Only got to watch from like 9::35 on and all I've read from this is it was boring. There's got to be some plot involved

Yeah, maybe watch Breaking Bad first or the Cameos won't make any sense.

If you've never seen BB, the guy who answered the door is a memorable bastard, and someone you don't want to make paranoid of you.

How many people have written off this show for good already?

I'm in, I thought it was interesting. They've got to start somewhere. Nice to see my boy Tuco

There were three scenes today that I enjoyed because of Breaking Bad. I wouldn't have thought much of them without that knowledge.

I think the slow start was necessary.

In Breaking Bad Saul Goodman was essentially a cartoon. He was a goofy guy who was there for comic relief. In a show that centered around him we've got to get to know him as a person and take him more seriously by learning what his motivations are.

I truly don't understand why people like you insist on coming in to these threads and shitting on shows/movies. I'm not saying that you have to like it, nor am I even saying that you can't come here to speak your mind, but you're acting like a petulant child who didn't get what he wanted, rather than actually being constructive.

Well, there was some childish behavior on both sides of that IMO. The guy was obviously trolling which is bad.

But there is a definite tone of "if you have a less than positive opinion of the show, frick off" from some people.

That's not unusual in forums dealing with opinions on works of fiction. Heck, there were people on one of the Lord of the Rings boards that would just as soon attack anyone who said anything negative about any part of the show rather than get into a discussion about it. And the one or two times I ventured on to one of the Star Wars boards, people who loved the prequels would blast anyone with who didn't worship them. Same with some comic book forums I've visited.

But I've always found this board to be more mature and to be a place where discussion was welcomed whether you liked or didn't like a show. Heck, there were some lengthy discussions with SFP over the merits of True Detective. But lately, I've seen a creeping unwillingness to tolerate different viewpoints.

Loved the opening. And nice surprise at the end.
