Exactly. Talk about unrealistic.

an't believe adult men are complaining about a 1-minute scene in a 3-hr movie that will bring joy to countless little girls.
I thought it was cringe but it didn't take away from anything for me. I just don't like how it was SUPER forced. Having scenes like scarlet witch and romanov was what inspires people, not the cringe stuff like Captain Marvel does.

Why wouldn't he go rule Asgard and let Valkyrie rule new Asgard
OG Asgard is gone bro.
ETA: our thoughts on the movie were really similar. I thought for a minute SW was going to totally frick Thanos up. It was enough to make him bring the rain though.

I’m not a beta soyboy but it’s literally the same exact thing Cap, Thor, and IM did. Only difference it was the women...

But who knows, I might be surprised by Larson and Boseman.
Larson sucks. I hope they recast her or something. Her movie actually meant nothing and her being in this movie meant nothing.
Boseman is boring. Black Panther is a cool character but Bosemean is just bleh.
Holland will do well. Cumberbatch is great but I don't see him being a main role character not because of his skills but because of what he wants to do.

Bro we’ve got talking Racoons and he’s this God. Yes

I won't argue with that but it's more likely they are together than literally all the women in the movies in one spot.

Tears of joy from my daughter and tears of sadness from my son, if a movie in today’s world can pull that off then it must of done something right. Solid A in my book.

Superhero movies are pretty much all about contrivances to set up awesome heroic moments. Everyone is always at the right place at the right time.

Exactly. I honestly think after Far From Home I’ll end up distancing myself away from the MCU. These 22 films have been truly special, a work of art.
This will never happen again. Not anytime soon.

I agree on Larson, the worst casting they have done by far but I think Bozeman is a fine Black Panther. The MCU really needs to focus on Thor and the guardians until they can launch the F4 and X-men. Hemsworth has grown so much since the beginning, he’s my favorite character now.

The Wakandan entrance was done extremely well. It made perfect sense and still served the black audience. I wish they’d done the women in some similar meaningful fashion.

He did alright. It just wasn't spectacular. It could change. Thor wasn't really something special till later.

Yeah I thought Thir would lose the gut quickly. Once it got time for the fight I figured he would just do some weird “god” thing and be back to normal shape. It was silly for him to fight with the big gut.

Thor could clean up his hair some more but thats about it.

That’s the most impressive part of all this. I don’t think you’ll ever see anybody except maybe MCU attempt to pull off an arc that last 10 years. Truly masterful and took a lot of balls. The Russos really took the ball and ran with it.

This. And like somebody mentioned earlier the scene in IW with Michone, BW, and SW felt organic and done much better.

I think the main reason it just won’t be able to be continued or replicated by the MCU is that they won’t be able to find the next Hemsworth, Evans or RDJ.
Though I do expect Hemsworth to return at some point. I think he likes doing Thor now but doesn’t want to be constrained by it. He wants to do the movies when HE wants and I bet the MCU and Feige are OK with that. Still, I just don’t see, barring an absolute home run cast of F4 and Mackie/Sebastian Stan REALLY taking a huge leap forward in their roles and abilities as actors, I don’t see the MCU sustaining itself for very much longer

Going forward i’ll probably still keep up but outside of far from home and GOTG3, I don’t see any as a must views in theatre.
