What are his misses?

I haven't seen Extract or the Goode Family but the rest of his filmography is great. I wouldn't consider him hit or miss even if those two suck.

Out of college, I worked at soul-sucking corporate jobs. This movie spoke to me on a deep level.

I had my mind blown recently. I needed to sit down it because I couldn't believe I had missed it all these years in one of my favorite movies ever. Apparently, I'm late to the party and everyone knew this but me.

This boss at Chotchkies is Mike Judge in character:

20 things you didn't know about Office Space

Some good ones:

18. SWINGLINE MADE RED STAPLERS THREE YEARS AFTER THE MOVIE CAME OUT.

20. MIKE JUDGE DOESN’T LIKE THE ENDING.
He realized that the entire third act should be re-written a little too late in the process—after the final test screening

Which is only 5% as scary as watching Idiocracy slowly turn itself into a documentary....

Extract.
The Goode Family (Lasted 13 episodes, one Summer season).
Monsignor Martinez (FOX didn't pick it up after they filmed the pilot).

I wouldn’t call extract as a miss per se, it’s definitely not as good as office space or even Idiocracy. But, overall it’s enjoyable average comedy. I definitely wouldn’t say it sucked or anything.

This movie is the reason I can’t say “stapler” without an accent.

Idiocracy was one of the most uncomfortable movies I’ve watched. It was terrifying to me to imagine being Luke Wilson in that situation

I think it's borderline terrible, but for some reason everyone here adores that movie. The only thing I can think of is that I watched it on TV, so it was edited some. But even watching it that way, it just wasn't very good IMO, and I've always wondered why people seem to hold it up as some sort of classic like Office Space.

That is a terrible slight to Office Space IMO.

Also, the jump to conclusions mat wasn't a game, was it? I thought it was just Tom's wacky "million dollar idea." It's not actually supposed to be a game, right?

It’s A flawed movie but that’s because it was neutered by the studio. Office space is a better movie in just about every way. However, idiocracy is filled with some hilarious scenes and characters.

I don’t know how you can watch idiocracy and not laugh. The real brilliance of the movie that no one thinks that movie is making fun of them

That’s not exactly how I would call a Hit or Miss director

Even Barry Bonds struck out. Doesn’t matter when he hit 70 bombs in a season.

You’d be hard pressed to find directors who haven’t had a miss before. So in your eyes they are all hit or miss
