Obi was talking to Leia about being taken away from his family by the Jedi...

He remembered his mother's shawl, his father's hands and a baby - he thinks he had a BROTHER! That would mean Obi-Wan could have a force sensitive sibling that would be 10 years his junior. It's never mentioned at any other time ever in the movie series or canon that I can recall.

Do they run with this somehow down the road, or was this just conversation in passing that the writers did on purpose only to be a nothing burger.

It's Disney trying to milk star wars for everything it's worth Marvel style.

Well, of course not.

What a plot hole generating machine this Kenobi series is.

So in the original screenplay of Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, he was supposed to have a brother. The plan was for it to be Owen. It was cut from the film before release.

In Legends it's hinted at in an interaction between Owen and Obi Wan.

Episode II would have made this absurd. It would have been totally better to have gone that route over what Lucas did though. And it would have made it more plausible to hide Luke somewhere Vader had never been. and it would make total sense for the tension between them, honestly.

In the original novelization for Return of the Jedi Owen Lars is revealed to be Obi-wan's brother. This was considered cannon by many until it was retconned by Attack of the Clones.

I don’t care anymore

There were way too many groomer undertones with Kenobi in this show

Like obvious ones

That’s funny - I think anyone paying attention sees the undertones

It’s pretty sick when you think about it

In the end, Obiwan mentors Luke for no reason in ANH as Luke isn’t needed to beat Vader

Well no reason except his tiny butthole I guess

So Obi Wan and Owen are brothers.
This means that Obi Wan's Dad was married to Anakin's Mom.
This makes him and Anakin brothers!

Galaxy with millions of planets and everyone is related.

Lando is Reva's brother.
By the accent Rose Tico was related to Nute Gunray.

Luke reached anakin, whereas Obi-Wan could not.

For this, the emperor was defeated and anakin returned.

That wasn't happening with obiwan. Vader was never the real enemy and obiwan wasn't beating the emperor.

Why would the baby be 10 years his junior unless you think that Jedi are taken from their family at the age of 10. It's much younger than that

They could have been the same age.

As for why it has never been mentioned, I mean, it's not likely that Obi-Wan cares about a sibling that he has basically never met before and only has the vaguest recollection of.

Yea, it is actually way younger. Most are of the age of 4-6 when they are taken and begin training. They even mention that Anakin is too old to begin training in TPM...he's only 9. If obi wan had a brother and had some memory of him they would have to be much much closer in age.

It’s pretty sick that you’re thinking of a kid’s butthole when you’re watching Kenobi.
