Spoilers- the young lady who put the laxative in his drink that caused him to shite himself during the tryouts
She fesses up to it

Pretty much. Miguel heads to L.A. right after that and when he gets back to Barcelona , Kenny is already there .
Devon makes that decision based on her fessing up plus she had been doing pretty shitty in the competition up to that point. She basically becomes an assistant sensei after that
Edit: even though Lapusso and Kenny make up when Lapusso apologizes for everything , Lapusso is still the most unlikable character in the whole series IMO

Lapusso is aggravating as hell.

I was a huge fan of the show when it first debuted.
Yeah dude I’m with you. It started out way more appealing to older dudes who grew up in the 90s and turned into a kid soap opera. The show was at its best when it was focusing on Johnny and Miguel’s relationship and the redemption arc but I know that can’t be sustained

Agreed. I wish they had just left him as a background character for comic relief like the 1st two seasons. He had a growth spurt and the show runners got crazy ideas for stories but he couldn't pull it off.

It's not even remotely close either.

He serves absolute zero purpose on this show. Other than pointing out that Daniel way outkicked his coverage by getting to knock up the mom.

Which has consistently happened going back to the original movie.

Finished it last night. The part about Dimitri and Hawk not trusting Kenny was dumb, but other than that, it's still top notch. The psychotic pursuit of karate tournament glory is still awesomely ridiculous.
I forgot it was a three part season. Can't wait for the exciting conclusion, with fingers still crossed for Hillary Swank.

This show just amps up the absurdity every season.
The girls fighting the best male karate fighters and actually doing well...
Where is the security at this event during that brawl?
Why was the team that was kicked out for cheating still there for the semi-finals?
Why would the "feed" being cut or not be up to the guy running the tournament? The TV network is just going to just continuing showing kids and adults beating the shite out of each other? And if it is up to the tournament director guy, why wait until someone dies to cut the feed?
I'm still all in. The self-aware nostalgic comedy is done so well in this show.

My favorite part of the whole season was the fly in a straight line bit. We needed some good ole dumbass Johnny.
It obvious part 1 was filmed before the WGA/SAG strike and part 2 after. Devon and Kenny looked noticably different.

Do we get to see Miguel’s mom?

Only in the hospital do you see Miguel’s mom.

This show has flown completely off the rails. The first couple of seasons were great for nostalgia.
Is it just me or is the Asian coach with Kreese extremely sexy?

This show just needs to die. Was interesting first couple of seasons, but its wash, rinse, repeat.
