I had no idea the final season was broken up into three parts. What kind of monkey bullshite is that?
I’ll watch them, but I really thought the next batch would be the last. And now I’ll have to wait even longer for the series to finish. That’s dumb.

I didn't really care for the ending of this part. Another just wild brawl where complete chaos ensues. Just seems like lazy writing. I was a bigger fan when it was simpler. The show has still been good, but it's over the top now. I'll be curious how they wrap this up in the next part. We still have Tory vs Sam.

Yeah, it was bad. The school brawl was fine. A random full blown brawl at a world championship caliber tournament is just dumb.

They should have a huge redemption arc on Kreese. Like, his girlfriend never died while he was in Vietnam and he meets her and changes back to the guy he was, before turning into an arse.

The season was trending in a really good direction and then the ending was just terrible
i have no idea why they added the brawl

To justify ending the season with 9 eps instead of just 6

I’ll say that I’m not sure “the brawl” was the right choice, but I can understand why they went for an ending other than “Miyagi-Do has a thrilling comeback in the semifinals/finals to win a glorious victory”.
At one point when they were showing the
scores entering the semis, explaining that they would carry over and then explaining the convoluted way that the semis would be scored (10 points for a knockdown and 20 for a knockout) I was thinking “wow,
How exhausting”.
I don’t know if they are going to come back in the next part of the season and “finish” the tournament, or the brawl and death will just result in them canceling the whole thing.
Of course, as Silver mentioned with the loose roster rules….who knows what they’re going to do.
Either way, it’s been a fun ride. I like the updates on Johnny and Daniel and seeing where their characters have gone. I like the idea of Johnny’s “redemption” that hints he may have truly not been the bad guy all along. The Chozen storyline is great too.

Dude playing Kenny needs to be Miles Morales in the MCU.

The last episode got too ridiculous, but I’m still a fan overall

I still haven't watched Part 1 yet cause I was waiting for Part 2 to come out so I could binge watch it all at once.

Was starting to worry when starting the fifth episode that they wouldn’t have enough time to finish the tournament,
“this last episode must be an hour, hour and a half finale”
“42 minutes?? How the hell do they wrap this up?”
…
MORE EPISODES COMING SOON

I caught the first two episodes yesterday. Man, the fighting is so bad in this series now. It's so overly choreographed that it looks completely fake. I do love the "whoosh" noises edited in when they punch though.
But a lot of the kids look like they aren't even trying to make it look realistic when they're fighting.
It also looks like some bigwig at Netflix told them to drastically raise the number of "spinning kick moves" this season.
Daniel being straight up kidnapped in a foreign country by another coach in the tournament.....yet nothing happens is top-level hilarious.
Tory literally telling zero people she was joining CK and going to Rio was great too. Like do her and Robby not even hang out offscreen? He had literally no idea she was going. And she's just walking around acting like that's normal to do to people she cares about.
Also, Tory's face is even more weird this season. It's like someone grabbed both sides of her head and stretched it out even more. She's starting to look like Stewie Griffin. And the right side of her face seems like it sags more than normal too.
I saw an RIP message to Chad McQueen before one of the episodes, and that made me sad. Hopefully they were able to get him on the show before he died since he was pretty much the only character in the original trilogy that hasn't made another appearance (have we seen Jessica from KK3 yet?).
I'm not enjoying it as much this go round through the first two episodes, but I think that's mainly because it is hyper focused on the kids and they are the worst part of the show. The show is so much better when it's Johnny and Daniel and their bullshite.
Also it seems like the kid characters have ramped up the caricatures this second part of the season:
Robby is emasculated.
Miguel is whiny.
Sam is Sam-ing and more overweight/slow than ever.
Demitri is more annoying than usual.
Hawk is more obnoxious.
Devon is more emotional.
I'm in for the remainder of the show though. It's such a great show (despite its obvious flaws). I do like that the entire show premise leans so heavily into the cheese. It makes the gripes above more palatable.
Interested to see where the next 3 episodes go and how they end up wrapping up the series. When are the last episodes of S6 supposed to come out?

this might be the hardest part to accept. She's chubby and slow and has a soft, weak core yet, she's the best they have to offer? At least the other chicks in the tourney looked in shape.
Title doesn't say spoilers so, i'll try to refrain.
The "Rocky II" scene from the hospital.
the final episode was pretty good. a lot of action.
the could have shown the aftermath but, now a lot of loose ends left hanging.

Have you see the other seasons? There is always a brawl. And at one point, the other dojo kids were watching, the little Asian one was like "we have so much experience in brawls"!.
I don't disagree with many of the critical posts in here, I just enjoy this show alot. I also think they have too many in the cast and adding the overseas tourney was too much. I get they are trying to expand up on the "Myagi-verse", but come on.....
And the teen angst flip-flopping......That kinda gets annoying.

Kwon committing sepuku is hilarious.
Dude ket spamming that terrible flying kick and got owned every time. Funny that was also his self killing move.

Ok I finished up tonight. Some thoughts as I was watching.
Zero chance Johnny and Miguel would fly back to Rio with Carmen damn near bleeding out in the hospital. What a waste of time.
Robby with a HUGE upgrade from Tory and her stretchy, sloped face. I can’t wait to see her get all mad about it after ignoring her boyfriend to his face for a week and then breaking up with him.
Asian sensai lady can get it. Especially with her hair down. Good for Chozen.
The absolute absurdity of the best fighter in the tournament…a tall, handsome dude who can easily kick everyone’s arse…going for Sam is comedy of the highest degree. And even better, she turns him down.
I love that Terry Silver is back. Love.
I can’t believe they brought back one of the thugs from KK3. That is fantastic. Let’s get Snake back immediately too.
Kenny sounds like he’s 30. And Demitri looks like he is.
The fact that boys and girls keep fighting each other is hilarious. Does that ever happen in real tournaments?
It bothers me that they still have Hawk in a stupid arse mohawk. It’s beyond tune to retire that.
Chozen getting bosses by sensai girl. Women be shoppin’.
Feels like it takes the Asian CK dude about 45 minutes to fix his hair every day.
Tagging in people like Sam and Demitri and not Robby, Kenny, or Miguel is laughably stupid. I mean shite, they literally let Sam fight the good Asian CK dude for chrissakes.
“We finally beat Kreese.”
“Well I actually beat him in my very first tournament.”
This show does throwback shite like that so well.
Not sure why but seeing Kreese catch up to Silver on the stairs on those knees cracked me the frick up.
Am I the only one that hates the name of this tournament? It’s so awkward sounding.
What a weird scoring system when a knockout ends the fight with 20 points. So you can score 19 hits on your opponent and he can get lucky once and win. Or if you kick arse and knock them out, you aren’t allowed to score anymore. Also how is the winner of the whole thing determined? They made a very obvious point of explaining that a team’s points carry forward from the previous round. Iron Eagle or whatever was up I think like 52 points on Miyagi. Even scoring knockouts and advancing doesn’t collapse that lead.
All out brawl in the middle of the semis? Yeah okay.
The absurdity of this brawl is so over the top stupid that it’s actually entertaining.
The amount of girls kicking boys’ asses on this show is hilarious as well.
Holy shite. Longest fight ever. This is even longer than the school fight from like S1.
Cut the feed? After 20 minutes of brawling on live tv? Never crossed your mind to cut the feed until someone gets stabbed and dies? Nice work, Coach Wolf Stansson.
Man this show is so overly ridiculous and stupid. And I love it.
