Cage isn't scared, that is for sure. If you told us that he was playing Anne Frank in an upcoming miniseries, I would not be shocked.

This movie looks legit in Cage embracing his fandom and his reputation.
It looks like all his movies rolled into one except the whole Michael Bay thing..so to speak. Satire, yes...but still an homage.

In a world where actors care so much about their image, I’m so glad we have a guy like Nick cage who will demolish any role that comes his way. Makes me so happy.

Tarantino apparently had him in mind for several different parts in Pulp Fiction, my guess is he was filming something else at the time.
