-Fury Road at #11 is a joke.
I agree. Fury Road is more overrated than Get Out (but maybe not Black Panther).

There's more historically accurate depictions in Empire Strikes Back than TSN.
Mark Zuckerberg no more created Facebook than you nor I did.
So what

-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is my biggest top 10 issue. Movie is boring as hell. Never seen Moonlight
Eternal Sunshine is one of my favorite films of all time and I felt like never got the credit it deserved.
I'm thrilled to see it this high

Most overrated for me is Anatomy of a Fall. French film is just so damn slow to me. And i like slow burns

60 something movies better than Oppenheimer in the last 25 years? Yeah I just don't think so. its not my number 1 or anything but still.

How is Master and Commander not in the top 100?

I think Fury Road likely gets some bonus points for being the top film for the past 25 years in its genre (Action) but should probably be in the 20-30 range

It's also an incredibly well-made film. Most of the set pieces are practical stunts, very little CGI. The cinematography, resolution, color grading, etc. All top-notch work.

These lists always piss me off
Of course class warfare propaganda is #1 for the NYT.
If you think I am being unfair, watch 2019's Mr Jones. frick every part of the NYT.

Absolutely, and top 20-30 in a quarter century is still a very good film and on track to be one of the top 100 in a century.

Not gonna lie. Recency bias will be claimed, but Sinners is a top 5 film this century
Every aspect of that film is flawless

Haven’t seen half this list but have heard good things about Parasite at the least.
Love No Country For Old Men.
Can’t understand the appeal of In The Mood For Love.
I think There Will Be Blood is less than the sum of its parts. Great performances and some memetic scenes but flat overall.

Parasite is a badass movie. It wouldn't be my #1 in the 21st century but it's up there for sure and I can easily see it being #1 for many.
These lists are never going to make everyone happy but it was pretty decent.

So what
It masquerades as the "true story" of the founding of Facebook, and most folks who watch the movie assume it's accurate.
Zuckerbot is a DARPA trust fund nepo baby.
The Department of Defense created LifeLog and turned the keys over to MZ to run once it was ready.

It's good.
Just saying the selection is unsurprising, based on the subject matter

Neat. Luke Skywalker also didn’t exist.
It’s a great movie.

Sometimes I feel like a normie, staring blankly to Kurt Metzger or DL Hughley sperging out on random conspiracy theories
They come rapid fire sometimes
I just ignore them and continue engaging the thread as though they don't exist.
I can barely contain my own crazy, don't need you offloading yours on me.

That CT is so dumb because it ignores all the web-based social media that existed prior to FB. It's a CT clearly constructed by a boomer or Gen Z kid who doesn't understand how late to the game FB was. It's basically just based off similar dates, relying on the post hoc fallacy, sharpshooter fallacy, and hindsight bias.
