He’s a fricking hypocrite. He’s one of the loudest, annoying activist about authentic Latin representation and yet has no problem portraying a Greek character.
I guess he was playing a central or South American sloth in Ice Age?

Chris Pratt voicing an Italian character in an animated movie- racism
John Leguizamo physically portraying a Greek character - you’re racist for noticing
He can’t lose

But also…
Drab scenery
Inauthentic armor & ships
And finally it draws heavily from a feminist’s (agenda driven) translation of Homer’s work.
Wait a minute. Is Leguizamo also in this movie?

No, it's based on current data which people have shared here repeatedly. They may not be correct (to the extent that there's even a true answer here), but every person who makes a prediction before they see it is basing their opinions on available data. That's either premature and stupid or it's not.

Yep! But the shills and Nolan bros want you to think it's just 2 actors.

Leguizamo taking a role in this is massively hypocritical.
Hollywood deserves to crash and burn, completely.

The problem is that Hollywood refuses to do the necessary work to make compelling stories with or without 'muh underrepresented actors'. So to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, they appropriate classic , accepted Western subjects and simply play mix and match. Voila! Instant success!
Only it's not happening.
Meanwhile studios in Korea, Japan, India and even freaking YouTubers are making their own stuff, telling their OWN stories, with great results at the box office , where it counts.
Even Uwe Boll made a movie that's trash but still hit a nerve and is getting a sequel.
*cowards will DV me and not reply because they know I'm right. Pathetic.

People need to read the reviews. This film is epic.

I'm not saying it won't be good but the early reviews are people hand picked by Nolan / Marketing. They cut back on how many critics could see it early and they cancelled showing it to influencers / Youtube reviewers.
So could it be great? Sure but I won't pay any attention to handpicked critics.

Not true. They're showing it everywhere. They just had a big event in India. Tons of reactions out there from Indian and French press.

It is true. Reported on actual news not some basement dwellers website. They chose to only show the movie to professional critics and 99.9% of said critics are liberal and won't care if the story is changed for modern audiences. Look it up. So, no I won't give a single frick to reviews coming from mainstream media critics. I'll wait to see what my favorite reviewers say once it is released.

I am not on board with the hate for the movie, but I do appreciate a good ratio
And this is a good ratio
Representation Matters*
*for non-western cultures

They don’t know how to counter that argument yet, let’s go search Reddit for our points

The forced diversity, the interview talk about subverting and modern audiences…. Nevermind. Enjoy your beautiful Helen of Troy and keep pretending.
