Hmm...I generally hate post-apocalyptic stuff but if its by the creator of Chernobyl then it's probably going to good because that show was awesome.

Yeah the Chernobyl creator by itself is enough for me to watch this. But the source material is so solid and the trailers look fantastic. Definitely can’t wait for this.

Hoping it's everything the walking dead was not. Casting spot on. If the sets look like they did in the game, it'll be very watchable.

Blink and you’ll miss it but both Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker are in this too. Ashley is playing Ellie’s mom and Troy seems to be one of David’s henchmen

Because money...however I don't care about the motivation behind it as long as it's good.
This is like asking why adapt a TV series from a book series...because it's got a ready made fanbase and money, what other reason are you looking for?

They’re doing both games, the creator of the adaption already said he’s a big fan of both games plus the song used in this trailer was played by a certain character in the second game.
