Wait, was Cole even in the trailers? That guy is definitely about to get killed off in the first 10 minutes

He'll die before everyone is even seated and it will still get the loudest applause.

I actually enjoyed the first one, for what it was, but introducing a brand new character like that was such a dumb decision.

Because Scorpion is the goat.

Sub Zero is coming back as Noob Saibot

I didn't notice Cole in the trailer. Him and his powers sucked anyway.

I'm not a fan of the actor that plays Shang Tsung either.

I'm in no matter what though. Love Karl Urban.

There were different Sub Zeros in the games. I think maybe they were brothers? Could easily bring him back.

The "main character " in the 1st one probably could have been saved with some cool, badass power, but the magic sweater/tonfa damn sure wasn't it.

I agree with that 100%.

the original Sub Zero was Bi-Han, and he was killed and subsequently turned into a wraith-type of character. His younger brother then took up the mantle of Sub-Zero. In the reboot games his brother is Scorpion for whatever reason.

1st one was great,

The stuff in the first 10 minutes w/Sub Zero and Scorpion sure. The rest of the movie centered on the world's blandest create a character ever? Ehh....

Apparently fatalities mean nothing and people can be brought back from the dead.

I don't know if I saw him in the trailer, but I assume Quan Chi is in this. Raising people from the dead is his specialty.

This. Plenty of other characters they could have gone with.

same. it was a fun movie, and honestly one of the better movies in the straight to streaming era because of theatres being shut down.

SF and MKII coming out in the same year is a weird Gen X feeling.
