oh, ok, well thats a relief, i wasnt really caring about star warsany more after TLJ so i saw the trailers and thought they were real
they are so much just like the destruction of all that is and was star wars that nothing about them didnt seem just like what disney would do

I could care less if this trailer looks good, or even if the movie turns out to be good. I'm not giving another cent of my money to that film franchise.
If i watch this movie, it will only be b/c the audience score is high and i'll wait until it becomes available to check out at my local library and watch at home.

Looks awesome.

I like Glover a lot in just about everything he does. With that being said he seems way too dorky and uninposing to play Lando IMO. Same with the guy playing Han. BDW and Ford were big dudes who actually seemed the part of smugglers. These guys look more like hackers.

I think that Glover has the charisma to pull it off. Unfortunately I'm feeling the opposite about the guy playing Han.

It's not going to be in the ballpark of Rogue One. RO had the benefit of the doubt with a good film preceding it. It also had Vader, which I think lures more people to the theater than a Han Solo who may not be any good. In fact everything I've heard from the set is Alden Ehrenreich may have put forth one of the worst performances of all time and this could be a career killer for him.

Ford is pretty wooden as Han Solo. After seeing previous performances by Ehrenreich, my guess is that the problem was in getting him to tone his acting down to Star Wars levels.

I don't lack of Charisma would be the issue at all. Glover has tons of Charisma that I feel like I always associate with him now. Almost feel like I'm going to see Donald Glover playing Lando if that makes sense.

Hell, the movie that everybody claims to LOATHE (Last Jedi) still made $1.3 billion. Billion. And people "hated" it the first weekend it came out, yet it still went on to make a bajillion dollars, because Star Wars.
Attack of the Clones, arguably the worst in the series BY FAR, still made $650 million. So let's say Solo does the same, it still wouldn't be a bomb. It's not a bomb just because it doesn't make a billion dollars at the box office.
Star Wars fans (sorry..."fans") are some of the worst. But at least you guys keep my expectations low. Hell, I wen into TLJ expecting it to be one of the worst movies ever based on what I saw on here, and I came out enjoying it and thinking it was pretty good. Were some parts of it annoying as frick? Of course, but that doesn't mean that it ruins my life like it apparently does to some around here.
