I like that they are seemingly getting back to the Dark and serious vibe like the first one.

3rd and 4th weren't as good as 1 and 2 with 1 being clearly better. This one loooks like it's aiming for the darker tone of the first one. I think that's where they misfired on the other 3. 2 2 wasn't as bad

That's dark looking. Despite the name, Davey Jones wasn't nearly as intimidating looking as Bardem's character looked in the trailer
