Very excited about going this route. Would love to see this or maybe going along the lines of Age of the Apocalypse.

They did this a little in one of the animated series, but not enough for my liking. I'd like to see a full animated series devoted to the AoA storyline. When I was a kid I had subscriptions to X-Factor and X-Force at the time AoA was going on, I still have books somewhere.

You think he is the only actor who can play Wolverine? I like him in the role, but his interpretation is different than the comic book version.

no cyclops, no care.

ETA: If they do a true adaptation, I'm down for it.

He's the only one I want to see. Other than being a foot taller than the comics, which I'm completely fine with, I dig how he plays Wolverine...my favorite character of all time.

Not enough internal rage(Jackman doesn't have the chops). IMO, Jackman looks too much like a "hero". Wolvie is a gruff anti-hero, but I am resigned to the fact that he will continue to play Logan.

+1 someone else can step in and do a great with a different interpretation of wolverine. Either that or take him out of the film completely, thou I hope that doesn't happen.

I have no clue. I'm just saying I'm sure there's a lot of great actors out there that would love a chance to play this iconic character. Actually the more I think about it the more I think wolverine may not even be in this film due to him having his own franchise.

I'm a big Xmen fan but I wish they'd move along from Magneto. He's cool and he's the main villain, but not every movie needs to have him and mystique. The Xmen universe has so many great characters and storylines to choose from that I'd be in favor of a reboot already.

And I'd like to see a new wolverine too. Jackman was ok, but someone stockier and grittier.

Would the dude that played Bane be too large?

I wonder if the alternate timeline got its start as a retroactive bandaid for Xavier being able to walk in Last Stand, and him and Magneto working together in the sane way they did in First Class

Umm yeah. The only comic movies better than first class were the Nolan Batmans and maybe avengers.

Well the second season of Wolverine & the X-Men was gonna be all AoA before they canceled. I still don't understand that.
