Well to be fair even as a kid we used to lol at Christopher Lambert's line delivery. Its part of the charm of it all.

Yeah I don't know if Bautista can really meld the comic, menace, and charming aspects of the character. He has done these things separately from each other but never together, I don't think.

Cavil 100% can do that.

This makes me wonder if they're going to go for a more serious/dark tone, as modern movies tend to do, and how that would work.

Lets be real even if it sucks.. at face value as a film the original films sucked. Its just a cool story and lambert was one of the first to do the monotone badass hero before Keanu mastered it.
