Extraction is the only “Netflix” movie I’d watch again. All of the rest are as someone would call it, 5 dollar Walmart bin trash.

The Wrong Missy was hilarious. I’ll add that as above.

I need to watch Eurovision again but that movie was straight garbage when I first saw it.

The Devil All the Time certainly isn't a movie that I want to watch again, but it was probably the best Netflix movie I've watched

Extraction was entertaining, but goddamn did that movie have some massive plot holes

granted...I haven't watched many of them because I haven't heard many good things

Netflix should just stick to series, as they at least hit on a few of those

I need to see that one.

But yeah a lot of the films have star power but are bloated and bland as can be. Triple Frontier was the biggest letdown.

The Night Comes For Us is one of the best martial arts movies of the past few years. Extraction was really great too. Spenser Confidential and 6 Underground were both highly entertaining. Enola Holmes was decent enough. The Irishman was great. Gerald's Game and The Ritual are both really good horror movies.

I watch netflix everyday and never run out of stuff. I don't know what everyone's complaining about.

The Ritual

this was a Netflix original? because if so, this is definitely my favorite Netflix movie

also I think I confused Extraction with Triple Frontier

Extraction was entertaining

Triple Frontier was a mess

In this case "Netflix original" means they have the exclusive American rights to it, but Netflix still considers it one of their movies.

The film premiered in September 2017 at the Toronto International Film Festival, where its international distribution rights were sold to Netflix for $4.75 million.[

the Western “The Harder They Fall” with Regina King, Idris Elba and “Lovecraft County” breakout Jonathan Majors

So excited for a Black Western.

Not really, but that's what we're supposed to say, right?

As ridiculous as it was, I highly enjoyed "Polar"

Ok I take it back. I enjoyed Polar and the Night Comes for Us and the Ritual if those are all Netflix originals. Ritual might’ve been the best of the bunch. And I’m a big The Raid fan and the Night comes for Us is very similar with the actors, etc.

I just think of Triple Froniter, that shitty Charlize Theron movie, and all the other ones I can’t remember because they’re so shitty.

I think netflix is more focused on the millenials and gen z tweens that have grown up with it as a main form of content consumption, a lot of their original content screams that.

I get the feeling Netflix actually commissioned these movies and paid for the production, unlike The Ritual or The Night Comes for Us where Netflix just bought the rights. Independent movies have always worked this way though. The main reason for film festivals is for independent film makers to sell their films to big studios. Netflix and Amazon aren't doing anything different from the way things have always worked.

Yeah I’ve noticed even Amazon is claiming some older movies now.

Beasts of No Nation and The Siege of Jadotville are pretty good movies. But, I think they're distributed by Netflix, not produced by Netflix.

97% of Netflix's original content is really mediocre.

Which is no different than a film studio's regular movie slate: a lot of forgettable crowd pleasers followed by two or three movies they shite out at the end of the year for awards recognition.

that scene was so horrible

Y’all do realize it’s horrible bc the guy on the ground is terrible at acting and his reactions to Deniro’s kicks are soft and out of sync.

If he’d actually acts like he is getting kicked the scene would of been way better.

We cancelled our Netflix subscription about two weeks ago after the latest price hike.

Couldn't justify it anymore. Most of the content is garbage.
