Chelsea's sucky set was made for the LA people on the floor of the arena.

SHane & Tony's was made for everyone in the cheapseats and watching at home.

he's great at podcasting and stand-up, but just OK at this kind of thing

her set (and Draymond's. And Brady's) were of course clearly written for them.

We need this kind of comedy in movies.

Lizzo’s was worth it for the Gillis jokes that followed it

Lizzo looking better. Good for her

Chelsea might have the best tits around. She claims they are real.

Tony proving there are levels to this.

It came off pretty cheesy. Seems like the roasts have gotten too big and showbusinessy.

They feel forced. Some of the jokes are funny or clever but there's a certain artificialness to the whole production.

Almost everyone who does these roasts has their material written for them. There are exceptions - like Tony.

Comedy stuff just doesn’t translate in an arena as well. I listened to a ton of comedy podcasts and they all say they would rather play a room in front of 200 than an arena but hard to ignore those arena checks.

The Comedy Central roasts were the goats

Room was intimate and more personable.

These netflix ones have been pretty good, the difference is the comedy central ones weren't live and heavily edited, so they seemed a little tighter. An edit probably would have helped with the teyana taylor and regina king sets which dragged on a bit

Not even close, and I like Shane a lot.

Nate Bargatze is lapping the field at the moment.

Chelsea seems to really dislike Shane and Tony.

Tony absolutely murdered. The line about Chelsey's frozen eggs was glorious. Shane was good. Big Jay was good, wish he went longer. Overall, there was too much production for a roast, IMO. And Kevin Hart talks like someone who's trying to sound like a guy who he would think sounds smart. It was so annoying on his Funny AF show. He said the exact same thing to every comic, which was nothing of substance.

I thought Tony was really good, but there were a few times where I thought his anger boiled over a little and it made a couple jokes not as smooth as even he would have liked them to be.

I don’t fully blame him since he was taking so much heat all night, but I felt like he needed to take a breath a couple times.

The audience seemed to get offended like a few of the roasters. Damn, you can’t even have a roast anymore without half the people getting pissed.

I thought this every time he "reacted." He was just holding the mic waiting to talk. Multiple people said, "I didn't write this," or "I have to say this for the money." Pretty aggravating to hear it so much.

What does this tell you about Hart’s influence and the Hollywood pedo mafia?

Also, do all stand ups have a team of writers now? A roast should be the easiest thing they do. It’s just shite talking everyone. They do that every day to impress each other.

Shane and Tony were fantastic. They carried this shite show

This roast was way over produced. Too much extra shite when the focus should have been on the jokes.

Kevin coming out and doing ten minutes to start the show was ridiculous. It was like he was hosting his own roast

The Roots are great but totally useless in this setting. The boxing theme was stupid, the names of the roasters popping up in the screen was terribly late and unnecessary.

This was always going to be worse than the Tom Brady roast. The roasters were no where as good.

Chelsea is the worst. I’m glad she got her shite pushed in

Sheryl Sheppard was good. I thought she was going to go clean for a minute then the old wild Sheryl came out.

Katt was cool but he should have told Kevin to frick himself

Netflix needs to scale this down a bit and focus on the jokes and comedians
