He is great. The “Well I Walked on the Moon” bit was great but my favorite was a simple joke he had about mid western farmers getting subsidies for not growing corn.
Yeah maybe it’s because I’ve heard all his classic well known bits so many times but I’ve really enjoyed his 2 recent specials because it’s fresh new takes on things but still in his unique style. A lot of my friends don’t like his delivery I guess because they think it’s hacky or something but it’s just his goofy stage persona that he’s developed so well over his career.

Watched this and nate bargatze the Tennessee kid yesterday and both were very good. I would recommend the latter if you haven't seen it

He's been a favorite of mine since the early 2k's when I used to listen to the comedy channels on XM all the time. Until recently I never realized he was supposed to be a clean no cursing comedian because he was always just funny. He isn't political and his bits are relatable in a way that they are timeless.

“Thanks! What did I do?”

“You moved your head out of the way of the fastball”

“Oh! Great! Good, I’m glad I did that! Go team! Go team, go!”

I loved Stupid in school. The whole bit about making words plural. What's the plural of box? BOXEN!

I’m Actually shocked at all the positive posts here. I’ve never thought this guy was funny at all and actually cringe at some of his stuff.

To each their own though

He’s probably the least talked about great comedian of this era.

He’s probably the most respected comedian among other comedians - so that should tell you something

If you ask the best comedians in the business to list the best ever - Regan is almost always on it

If you can’t laugh at his pop-tart/PB&J bits, you have no sense of humor

Watched this and enjoyed it too. I like his dry delivery. I went back and watched S1 of the the stand ups to see the bit he referred to on the trip advisor post. Good stuff.

It took everything I had not to get my 6 year old nephew to yell out “grape!” when his coach or parents yelled something to him in the field. I didn’t want to get him in trouble lol

There are comedians with that kind of delivery that don't work....most of them.

For some reason, Regan just nails it. He comes off as both genuine and self-aware while being unrealistically goofy. It works imo.
