I listened to the iTunes snippet, can hear why you like them.
Maybe you have to have seen them perform to get it. They have an awesome chemistry.

Saw another guy on there with Hallelujah.
Matthew's was better. Not my favorite song. Someone sings it on every talent show I watch or so it seems. Matthew's version was the only one I've enjoyed.

guys getting sent home way before their time last year, one may have been from LA.
The guy from LA was very likable and I thought he should have hung around a week or so more, if I recall, but he was nowhere near talented enough to make it to a demi, semi or any other kind of final. There might have been one other guy who went before his time, but he didn't have a long shelf life anyway. Too many girls were so much better than the guys.
NM made watching AI last season oh so painful. I nearly stopped watching. I think I'll enjoy the judges this season.

but one would think his father would have contacts to help him get recognized and started in the business if he was truly talented enough.
I don't know, dude, he won a Grammy for song writing, which to me is a major + to success as most singers struggle with finding or writing good songs to record. I don't have his father or Will on speed dial to ask why he never gained traction as a solo artist or if he had even put much effort into trying to achieve that prior to the Voice. I'll put it this way, if a duo like the FL GA Line can become popular with, IMO, terrible songs & marginal ability then there is hope for everyone to make it in the industry formerly known as music no matter what niche they choose. Staying relevant is an entirely different story.

So true there. I know this may sound passe, but I wonder how many of these new artist like the aforementioned would have success without the aid of videos and all the social media and had to depend solely on radio.

I agree. On one hand it can be easier for those doing it themselves to publish/record/distribute themselves, but they still have to gain traction somehow. The industry is magnitudes more difficult than 25 years ago to make it big, but a lot more can make a living working on a smaller scale. Singer/songwriters with a good voice and writing ability are much less dependent on others and the acts with little talent that are marketing contrivances are soon forgotten.
I know it has sold songs, but whomever thought faux country + rap is a good idea must have been on 2-week drug orgy.

She's doing that Winter Olympics ad also and I thought it was really good.

I'm really excited for the future of Bradbery

Yeah, I think she's going to make it in the big time.

Maybe in a few years she can put out a decent album, until then she can enjoy the shadows of Cassadee Pope.

Nice voice, but Will is the most boring, uninteresting, humorless mofo in the competition. Does nothing for me.
Plus a couple of episodes ago he was swatting his daughter aside like she was an annoying fly.

I think that people are a little too harsh on the Jacquie "screaming". I've heard a lot worse, and she's very young. She's got talent.

I understand, I guess, but I think she's pretty good. A couple of her performances were truly moving (Many Rivers to Cross).

this Tessanne & Adam duet sounds like it'll be amazing

Really nice duet.
I'm pulling for Tessanne. I know some folks on the board don't care for her, but she's truly talented. I just like her.
