I'm meh on Jacquie's performance. She was pitchy in the beginning and her typical screaming at the end. That song is meant to be the artist and a piano, naked with nowhere to hide. Google Sarah and josh Grobin if you want to see it done correctly.

I had Tess 1st last night even though I overall don't like her.

My rankings.
Tess
Cole
Will
Jacquie

James.

If JL or Cole go home based on the full season of performances, folks ain't right. They've been the best throughout the whole season week in and week out. Based on her performance last night, Tessanne will probably stay, and it was fairly close between Will & James.

If you vote do you vote on just on the latest performance or for their singing over the whole season? I base mine on the whole body of work.

And I admit I could be just a slight bit bias, but I do see Cole as consistent throughout the season.

I'm guilty of judging based on the body of work moreso than a single performance. However, the votes reset every week, so that's the nature of the beast.

FWIW, Cole's family has been on Facebook trying to brace people for him being sent home tonight. Obviously they don't know anything for sure yet, but they hold a lot of stock in the iTunes votes (as they should, since any song in the top 10 gets their votes multiplied by 5), and they are convinced he and James will be sent home while Tessanne, Jacquie and Will stay.

I wasn't taking it personally, you are good peeps. Unlike Danielle last season who was 16 and gave consistently stellar performances some appear to be pushing JL with a large bias on potential instead of in-show performance/achievement. IMO, if Danielle or Javier had shown up for any season of the Voice in which the other was not competing they would have a very high chance of winning, not sure I would say that about any in the current 5 although if some don't find a way to blow away voters T might walk off as #1 overall. I believe Cole is maxed out performance-wise and it would take failures of others for him to advance/win.

Oompaw, if I were voting it would be on current performance, not past aggregate performances. Whomever is finishing strong should get votes.

That would be just so wrong. My preferences are based on body of work and Cole is #1 for me in that regard. If he goes, I don't care who wins after that. I don't like any of them nearly as much as Cole. Might not watch the finale and just read about it.
As long as Alex and Sierra are on XFactor, I'll watch it instead.

Yeah, for a first single off their upcoming album, good song IMO, that could be a big hit.

Also, Cassadee is singing probably my favorite song off her album "I wish I could break your heart".

Little Swon rockin' the house and givin' away a signed guitar! He sung a lot tonight, too. They sounded their best when they were doing the harmony. Good for the Swons!!

"Swoncerts".

I have a feeling that song is hitting #1 on iTunes Country chart.

A very good feeling.

I know tonight's show has started, but I wanted to add a few things about last night's show.

Cole does have wonderful talent and a great voice, but his performances aren't very dynamic. I had to laugh last night when he told Blake he was going to move like a rock star. He hardly moved at all! It wouldn't hurt him to learn how to perform. I think he should win.

I've been one of those who've been on the JL love train, but I did NOT like her last two performances. Last night showed she doesn't know how to interpret the meaning of a song. She has a great voice, and she added some quieter moments and sounded good in parts, but it just didn't' make sense to me. She IS dynamic and interesting to watch.

I like Will. I know he's not a favorite here. He could learn to be more dynamic, as well.

I like Tessanne, I know she is the least favorite here. She knows how to perform!

But in the end, would I buy any of their records? I don't know.

Last, Cee Lo and Xtina are worthless judges.

He had one good song/performance that carried him as far as it could, everyone had him eliminated tonight.

Lowest vote total isn't surprising either.

I didn't think it was possible to dislike lil swon anymore than an already did. i was wrong. he is fricking useless. i am convinced big swon refuses to give into pressure for him to dump him, i know it has to have been mentioned to him. he is not good enough to be given any solo parts and he moves around stage and acts like a toolbag who thinks he's hot shite. he's like a hype man at a rap concert
