I revise my previous post from Team Jacquie to also include Team Cole.

Either one of them can win it and I'll be happy.

Finally, you're seeing the light. Now, if you go to team Tessanne, there's a problem.

Movie/TV Board got their wish tonight. Congrats

Kat was going next week if she didn't leave this week so I ain't that upset and I like caroline.

x-tina's squad put on a great performance at the beginning of tonight's show. that was awesome

kat's performance last night wasn't nearly as bad as some of y'all made it out to be. I rather enjoyed it. I guess it's just not some of y'alls style. not enough cookie cutter mainstream for some I guess

james, matt and cole killed it last night though. those where my top 3 by a significant margin. for some reason I'm just not digging ole ray Boudreaux.

I did get a musical scholarship to college... but that was about 15 years ago.

Doesn't matter, she gone.

Cole still alive!! So happy for him and his family. That damn Carson Daly made me sweat. Had me hanging on his every word like some kind of damn 12 year old girl. That bastard.

For anybody not on board yet, there's still room on the COLETRAIN if you want to be part of the COLEPATROL!!!

OK I promise I'll try not to do that ever again.

I thought it was very fluttery (is that a word?) and she seemed nervous. I know what they were going for and that could have been awesome, but she looked out of her comfort zone.

Sad to see Austin go, I don't think he deserved to go that early.

Bye, Kat.

Next week will probably be Ray, Caroline and Will/Tessane in the bottom.

Im still Team James.

Caught up last night.

Austin's Your Love sucked. I like him, but that sounded bad. He's struggled the last two weeks. Monday he sounded weird and different (in a bad way).

Jacquie. Couple of hiccups early but sounded really good for the most part.

Will. Didn't like that song choice for whatever reason. He sounds just okay.

Caroline. I liked it. Thought it was a cool version of that song and she sounded good. The music was too loud though.

Cole. fricking perfect song choice for him (and it's just an awesome song anyway). Best of the night so far.

Tessanne. Still don't like her but she sounded good though.

Ray. Sounds good but the goddamn band is too loud again.

James. I thought he was kinda up and down but overall good. And the band and background singers are, yet again, too fricking loud. That is getting annoying.

Kat. We Belong is a great song choice for her. I thought she sounded really good and rebounded well from last week.

Matthew I thought started off way too weak, but by the end of it he sounded really good as usual. Music too loud and drowned him out. Again.

So Austin and Kat are gone. I thought the bottom three just based on Monday performances were Austin, Matthew, and Will. So not surprised to see Austin gone. And even though Kat brought it this week, her leaving also isn't shocking since she was on the bubble last week. I guess maybe people are tired of Caroline..?...if this week is any indication, I expect her to be gone next week barring some ridiculous performance.

Front runners at this point IMO are Cole and Jacquie, with James and Matthew not far behind. I like that there is no clear #1 this season like there was last season with Danielle.

I like that also. I thought Jacquie would be the clear frontrunner at first, but Xtina may screw her up with song choices, sadly.

I don't know about last week, but Kat's nerves took her down this week. I agree that the song was a good choice for her. She just couldn't sing it well. You must have heard something different from what some of the rest of us heard.

I think Matthew is better than you think he is.

She was in way over her head. Or maybe the performance aspect of it took away too much from the vocals.

That is why I've always liked the slower more accoustic performances. The band, backup singers, and crazy stuff going on onstage always overpower the singer.

I caught up on the thread earlier and saw a ton of Kat hate. I thought she sounded legit good this week, and certainly stepped her game up. Obviously she's one of the weaker ones left on the show, but a lot of the hate for her is overboard IMO. I'm not in love with her like some are though.

Nah, I think he's really good. I just think his low register is really weak sounding. And not that it doesn't sound good, it's just hard to hear because of its weakness. I'm a fan of him for sure.

Kat hate is blinding some of you. I am not against her being gone because she was one of the weaker singers left on the show but she did good this week. all the objective ones think so it's the ones that have spewed much hate for her that are saying she was terrible.

I legitimately thought it was one of Kat's worst performances. Her vocals just sounded off the whole time, out of tune with the music and backup singers. Her best vocals were back when she sand "She Keeps Me Warm" and I don't think she did an over the top performance for that one.

She's a good performer, and I can see her having plenty of fans based on that and her attitude, but vocally she was been the weakest contestant in the top 12, in my opinion.

Is this where I put < Grey?

Seriously I think it's going to come down to Cole, Matthew, and Jackie. I think James could end up doing something after the show. The rest are kind of meh although I like Ray.

I could see James or Will making a run... but Caroline, Ray, and Tessanne I don't think have much of a shot at even the finals.

Will has been average at best the last two weeks. I wouldn't have been shocked if he was sent home yesterday.

I enjoy his style probably more than the rest of the field. At least I enjoy the direction he's been pushed in. I don't think he's as good vocally as a few others, but I'd be more likely to buy his music.

Agree with all of that.

Too four are Cole, James, Jacquie, and Matthew for sure. Ray could slip in there if he keeps his quality on point... The people seem to like him a lot.

Tessanne, Caroline, and Will should be the next three gone.
