Kat was too heavy rock for me. She's talented though.
Johnny was weak to me. CeeLo talks a long time and says little.

Never heard if the sex show. What is it?

I liked Tessanne better than last week, but there's still something about her tone that I don't love. Just personal taste. I recognize that she's talented.

Caroline. She was good, but overall pretty meh.

Josh. Awesome song, but not the best choice I don't think. It was just okay.

James. Horrible song choice for him...he almost sounds bad for some reason. WTF?

Austin. Sounded good. Nice that he can do so many things, like country.

Jacquie. She's so damn talented at such a young age. It's crazy. She didn't match last week since that's basically impossible, but she did awesome. Best of the night so far.

Christina begs America to vote for her people every time. It's very annoying.

Ray. Sort of had a hiccup at the beginning, but I thought he rebounded really well and sounds good. Christina blew up his spot though. Damn.

Kat. Awesome song, but a weird choice I think because it doesn't give her spots to shine IMO. She did well with it though.

The drummer on this show fricking sucks.

And CeeLo is retarded. WTF is he talking about most of the time? What a weird arse dude.

Johnny. I can't ever tell if he sounds good or sounds weird (in a bad way). I feel like he should just sing a Beatles song every damn time...he definitely is a throwback to that 60s/70s time period.

Tessanne. I don't like her but she sounds pretty good tonight. Definitely put some soul into that performance.

Carson awkward hugging again...nice. Also, you don't have to point everybody's significant others every time, dude. Chill out.

Matthew. Kind of a cliche' song to sing, but he just fricking killed that shite. Best of the night.

Cole. Weird song choice, but I thought he sounded really good.

Will. Just sounded okay I think. He sounded weak at first, then rebounded well and sounded good, but then at the end he sounded bad again when he screamed that one note.

Overall, sort of a down night IMO.

(the only things "ranked" are the groups, and Matthew being at the top...each person in the groups are interchangeable IMO)

Masters of Sex is on Showtime. It's the story of Masters and Johnson and their sex research. That doesn't sound like a good show, which is why I didn't watch the first six episodes I recorded until yesterday. OMG! I love it, even if it is likely to be a very fictionalized version of their story. Couldn't wait for episode 7 last night.

Caroline was okay, I think she's really good but that song choice for her was weird. An EDM song?

Josh was meh, backup vocals overpowered him.

James was good again. I mean is it possible for Mr. Brightside to not sound good?

Austin was pretty solid. Again, the damn backup vocals during the chorus are too loud. Good song choice too and delivered.

Jacquie was solid, started off a little rocky but her highs are so good. If back to back 16 year old win this show imma laugh. Teen Voice!

Ray was very good. Should be safe. Liked it a lot, was on point.

Kat, going home. I mean it wasn't terrible just the weakest left on show. Performance was hot though I'll say that.

Jonny was alright. I didn't hate it but he's definitely bottom 3ish for me.

Tessane was good, but just good. Really didn't care for it too much, she was up and down throughout the performance but still top 5ish.

Mathew nailed it, very good. That was right in his wheelhouse and he didn't disappoint.

Cole with a good performance. Should be safe. I liked it.

Will was mediocre. Maybe my least favorite of the night. Love that song and he butchered it. Go home bitch and bring Grey back. Adam you suck balls.

What could have been.

I'd put Matthew, Jacquie and James as favorites to reach the finals at this point. As long as none of them flops completely like Trevin did two seasons ago.

I think Kat, Josh, and Jonny are in the bottom 3. None of them stand a chance at winning.

Everyone else needs to find their moment to shine and hope one of the favorites fricks up.

I disagree.

If I closed my eyes during that preformance I could swear A James Bond movie was coming on.

Kat saved herself with her performance.

The top female singer is Jacquie without question.

As far as the male, I may be a little bias, but I have to go with Cole, he's showed lot of versatility with his performance last night.

I would guess that Cole, Jacquie, Matthew, Caroline, Austin, James & Kat are safe for at least one more round. The others are on the bubble.

If I were truly objective, this is a damn good list. I definitely have Ray and Jonny at the bottom. And Matthew was pretty awesome last night.

I've had a soft spot for Caroline, but she was super meh last night.

And I really like Kat, but talent-wise I think she is just outclassed in this competition.

Team Cee-Lo has 3 of the bottom 6 in my mind right now.
