I read the thread. Thought the place from Pulp fiction and see that was the thought behind the OP.

My mom says there was a place like that in New Jersey when she was a teenager. With every server in a character. Seemed cool.
Would be cool to have a restaurant with the interior of Sci Fi Dine-In with servers in period character.

Used to tell the kids the rat really did cool the Food in 'Le Chefs de France'.

They used to bring it around like the manager asking how everyone's food was.

I think it actually is an operational diner, but I doubt it has the same atmosphere...or that damn fine cup of coffee!

Don’t know about now, but a decade or so ago, when I last went, there was a Pizza Planet around the corner from Muppet Vision 3D in Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando.
