Does this movie have any villains, other than off screen characters like the actual killers and maybe the quintessential Norton?

Damn, that gif has two pretty great actors who are no longer with us.

I thought about this also when I watched a few days ago. Fred Gwyyne is another that is no longer with us.

One of my top 5 favorite random subplots in movie history.

How do I know that's not a bunch of one's with a twenty wrapped around it?

Fan it out. Show it to me.

What cracks me up about that scene was when he jumped up and said "what the frick was the what?"

And to add to its excellence it’s regarded as one of the most legally accurate court room movies of all time.

Little known fact. The screenwriter was a lawyer and the court room procedure is spot on accurate. The movie is shown to law students at several schools as part of their course work before they graduate.

One of those rare movies where it knew what it wanted to do and then did it.

Fred Gwynne was amazing in that movie as the old school Southern judge playing the straight man to Joe Pesci.

I bet "rebuilt some trannies" is edited out in the next 5 years (if not already).
