Another thought. Start DVR'ing episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, my 7 month old has been watching since he was 4 months old and it keeps him entertained for hours.

JFC it took 24 posts for someone to say Lion King????

And still no Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin??

Lion King recently came out of the vault btw. Had been years since it was available and probably won’t be much longer. Get that shite NOW.

We did this too with my 1st, probably bought too many too soon. My 5 y/o son loved em but my now 2 y/o son has less patience to sit down and watch movies

We wanted to stick with less scary early, i.e. Ursula is a scary bitch.

Finding Nemo worked best as a baby due to the colors, then toy story’s/cars. Gradually started working in others. 101 Dalmatians is great when they learn what a dog is and how to say it. The good dinosaur was great once he became addicted to Dino’s.

I’d say wreck it Ralph has become an all time fave with oldest too... it gets more fun as they get older but I wouldn’t stress getting too many early on.

Don't forget to set up a disney movie rewards and movies anywhere account. If you're buying that many titles you should be able to get a free one every now and then. For movies anywhere, the convenience of streaming is too easy these days.

The ones that are available until they release more. Don’t they only release certain ones from their “vault”?

Get Fantastic Mr. Fox. It isn’t Disney but it is really good. Also Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run.

Don't think it has been mentioned yet, but OP should really look into the Walt Disney Treasures collections. Wiki.

The only thing is that I don't believe it is offered on Bluray (but any BR player will upconvert a regular DVD). But it is a lot of the old Disney cartoons and specials, and it is pretty great. They are split into different categories, like a Donald Duck collection (there are four total), or a Goofy collection, or Mickey Mouse cartoons in black and white, etc.

It's pretty great, and should fit in well with a collection of Disney movies.

They are closing that service soon. Movies will have to be transferred to another digital service.

does anyone know where a good copy of this can be found?

My son really likes the characters after going on splash mountain but everything I've found is pretty bootleg looking.

you'd be better off installing plex and setting up your disney movies there. hard-copy media is so last century.
