the rookie MVP last year was a survivor alum (Sydney). Plus Dee was another great pickup from survivor. Cassidy Clark, Chris Underwood, LSU Tiger Danny McCray. I have to say survivor has been good to the challenge.

The love island cast really brings it for entertainment. Social media and people trying to cancel everyone really hurt this show overall.

Camila was the perfect example of what you need to cast on the challenge. She was a triple threat. She was attractive, got drunk and hooked up, and was actually good at challenges and athletic. People made her out to be this satan that should be shunned from society and never be brought back on the show because she called leroy a black mother fricker.

That's not racist. That's just being a drunk POS. It's reality tv and what makes this show great. On the other hand Nia who really was racist on her real world portland season and got into a fight with 2 white people was celebrated and brought back with open arms.

Jay and Michelle are awful additions to the show

I absolutely LOATHE the scared game he plays. You're a former NFL player, yet you don't want anyone relevant at all to stick around. Just want to send in anyone with a pulse and leave nothing but layups for you to face in the finals. All the while constantly complaining about your partner's alliances which oh by the way carried you to the final and finished 1-3. If he had the attitude of Jordan as a competitor he could go down as the best to ever play. Instead we haven't seen him back in 3 years I believe.

He's says he just filmed it and it will be one of the best seasons yet.
We should be getting a teaser pretty soon. I'm guessing June or July premiere date.
Is this the longest we have gone without a season of the challenge since 1998?

As much as I love MTV. Streaming is so much easier. No commercial's or having to fast forward thru commercials. They also won't have to beep any curse words out. The episode will pop up at the same time every week. I always feel like the picture quality on paramount + streaming is better than cable tv.

Paramount + also has more subscriptions than Cable TV so more eyes will be on the challenge. Plus when you look at the demographic that watches the show majority have streaming over cable now. I have the challenge saved as favorites on my streaming app. It pops up right when I go on the site.

Listening to the Casey Cooper Challenge Mania podcast episode.

They said it perfectly that they need to start casting the Casey Coopers of the world instead of the next olympian style cast member. Casey admitted she signed up for the real world audition to go drink and party and travel and not the ESPN style competition that it is today. She was unaware how un athletic and klutz she was until the show started

At no point in her life was she thinking about becoming famous or a bum influencer. She was just living in the moment enjoying life. That's why these people were so real and the show succeeded.

She told a story back in 2005 during fresh meat that they had a cell phone for the whole cast to use for family stuff throughout the season and before the finals started (her and wes just made) they were drinking by the pool and talking about how she got onto the show thru audition etc. She mentioned she called in a radio show and got a in person interview with MTV and that's how she got on season 12. She was an ALT for Real World Key but didn't make it. So her and wes were drunk and called the radio station to tell them thank you and that she are in the finals not even thinking. Obviously that's against the contract They both got fined but she still made 10 grand to buy her boobs.

That Fresh Meat cast was tv perfection.
