I'd be down for a sequel or two of John Carter. The books are there, so there's stuff to work with. Taylor Kitsch is still young enough to play the role.

Similarly, a Conan (Jason Mamoa) sequel.

To me, those are things that would build interest with multiple movies.

And of course, sequel to Man from Uncle, with the same cast back.

The Professional has already been mentioned but that is what I came to post - Portman as Matilda the Professional.

Shawshank does not beg for a sequel (and would probably flop at the box office) but I would pay to see how Andy and Red lived life in Zihuatanejo.

I’m probably the only person alive that wanted to see a sequel to Mr. Brooks.

A prequel or a sequel to The Sting would be fun if done with the same skill as the original. A young Henry Gondor with his gang of hustlers and con men would be great cinema.

I wanted that, but I wanted it by 1990 with everyone still young and viable, and I wanted a totally different direction than Lucasfilm/Disney took.

I still appreciate seeing CGI Luke in Mando, but that ship has kinda sailed. And I hate what they did do with the eventual sequels, which is hard to overlook.

A Last Starfighter sequel would be neat, if they plot it out well.

I'm kind of a sucker for pre-apocalyptic apocalypse stories. Wish there was more content along these lines. I know you're getting some downvotes, but I think this could be a brilliant prequel as long as they didn't mess it up with weird conspiracy nonsense. Just keep it a solid story about how some wonderful promising intentions slowly went horribly wrong, despite all of the best reasonable logical efforts to contain things. I'd like to see a good creator's take on the subject.
