Mean Girls... It's incredibly smart.

Best in Show. .. My stepmother made us watch dog shows while growing up so I stayed away from this one but damn it is funny

In Bruge ... Colin Ferrel wasn't my favorite actor and it seemed like a slow foreign movie but... "You're an inanimate fricking object!"

Good one. I hate midgets. There was way too much midget in the trailer for my liking. But what an awesome movie. I was actually mad at myself for waiting to see this.

Kick arse
In Bruges
X-Men First Class

And this one will be a shocker: Fellowship of the Ring. Thought it was going to be stupid and corny since I wasn't at all a fan of fantasy at the time. This filmblew my face off and basically turned me into a sci fi and fantasy nerd.

Joe Dirt took me a long time to watch because I figured it would just be stupid. Now I watch it and it gets funnier everytime I see it.

Iron Man

Never was a big comic book guy and the premise sounded weird. I was dead wrong and the movies were great.

My number one of all time that I distinctly remember refusing to go see until I was dragged was Raiders of the Lost Ark. I thought the movie would be about an anthropologist digging around for remains and it would be extremely boring. Boy did I get that one wrong.

Running Scared with Paul Walker (don't like him in movies).

My friends kept telling me to see it and I kept avoiding it.

Needless to say, pretty good movie. I now highly recommend it.

Good one, but I wouldn't have immediately thought of that. PW should step out of his "surfer bro" acting style more often.

(the Vietnam scenes of) Full Metal Jacket
the first time I tried to watch the movie, I was much younger and I'd only known about the movie thru hearing the lines quoted (namely rap songs. lol). I didn't even know anything about Kubrick. The 2nd act of the film was too boring at first compared to the boot camp scenes, so I turned it off. I finished the film finally years later, and I'm glad I did. Great story. Well executed.
